Davideo7 : Nice one David! These updates will come in handy since today I am going to start to set up my game collection. It all sounds great and the Video Game Room is shaping up much quicker than I imagined, Well Done!

I do have suggestions for the VGR and possibly the RGR if you decide to use it on both. On the game page of a Remade game there could be a link to the original, especially for remakes of games on the RGR. Maybe you could add it via content request because I am happy to add the links through there. 

PS :  What is the status on the staff hiring? I have heard rumors you have already chosen and others have told me the opposite. Oh and also thank you for the Viz

Davideo7 : When I did the description for what I do with the game, I put in a few apostrophes. When I looked at the text outside of the insertion box, I noticed that there are slashes between the contraction and letter before the contraction (ie; won/'t, I/'m). Could this be fixed easily?
Edit: Also, my steam name is going into my 3ds friend code box on my game collection page.

mohammedroxx3 : You don't add Viz or CP from adding games to your collection, if anything it should cost Viz to add games to your collection but I don't plan to do that either. There's actually a website called Price Charting that charges money for similar features.

mourinhosgum : Let tRIUNE know and he can get the missing games added.

MechaMento : If a game is of a hack, it already does link to the game that it's a hack of. The link can be found in the content area. I think this is what you're asking.

mourinhosgum : As mentioned in the 'Other future features' section of my first post, I plan to add accessories and game systems to this eventually and that would include limited edition controllers.

mlb789 : Both issues have been fixed. Thanks for letting me know of those problems, that's one of the reason I chose to release this feature early in beta so that users could find any problems that I could fix. Finding problems that like that really helps out.

vanelan : I'll eventually get Neo Geo added, you're one of the only people I know that actually owns Neo Geo games. Based on the fact that Neo Geo games are usually really expensive, your Neo Geo collection must be your most valuable collection.

Davideo7 : No, I already knew about the hacks but what I mean is similar so I understand your misunderstanding. What I meant was when you visit a game page on the VGR that is a remake of another game, for instance Ocarina of time 3D, you would be able to click on a link to the original game page, in this case it would be Ocarina of Time for the N64. The only reason I said it would possibly be on the RGR was because there is a Remake of Super Mario World on the GBA,

Finding prices for that system are a bit harder tho. There seems to be a consensus on the neo-geo forum on what THEY think the prices should be, but that doesn't always reflect the eBay/other prices.

vanelan : I went ahead and added Neo Geo games because I'd love to eventually be the best source for looking up Neo Geo prices. Most of the games are missing the prices and it'll take a while for the current prices to be more accurate but if you're willing to go ahead and pause for your SNES project and work on the Neo Geo ebay URLs, I'll give you a link in your staff thread.

Davideo7 : Don't know if you are already going to do this. How about it kind of  works like a backloggery too. So people can see which game you have beaten, unfinished and 100%

mourinhosgum : I was going to incorporate something where it'd show how many achievements/trophies you have for each game but that idea is an awesome idea too! I'll be sure to add that sometime

Davideo7 : Of course. I'll get right on it.

This feature sure has been used. As of this post, there's 2,214 entries for this feature. Each game that each user adds to their collection is considered an entry. I'm not sure how many users have used this, I'll figure that number out sometime later but this feature has been getting used which is great. Hopefully within a few weeks I can add my full collection

You can now see all of the users who own a specific game and additional details such as if they're willing to sell it and if they're willing to play it online.

I really like the way that the games are organized inside of the profile. It makes it easier to find every detail about the game that the user puts up.

A small update. If you choose to sell one of your games and you want to sell it for exactly what it's worth, type in 0.02 as the value and the value will automatically be based on what it's worth according to vizzed.

Just a few general questions about the VGR though, just as there's no other place to ask:
Do you have any sort of project or plan in place to keep the games on the VGR current? with new releases being added as they come out or something, because that would be a cool thing I'd see as useful for the Collection Feature, seeing as how there's people who own games such as Call of Duty Ghosts, A Link Between Worlds, and Beyond Two Souls, yet the pages aren't up.

Maybe some sort of user run suggestion feature where people have a game they'd like added, and they send the name/console of it to the staff, and they'd check if it's real or out, and they'd approve it, and a game page would be made? (We have similar features in our "requests" pages as staff.) Or kust to get some Game Adders onto the VGR?

Second question, any plans on adding the systems "Xbox One" "PS4" or "Vita" yet? The Vita was out for a few years now, but hasn't really hit notability until now, really.

And third, can you make the 3DS show up on the console list on the indexes for the VGR?

1. I do have plans on keeping the VGR current. I'm going to be assigning Site Staff members to game systems and it'll be their responsibility to add new games when they come out for those systems. Those same staff members would be in charge of adding missing games so users could contact them.

2. I thought the Vita was already in the VGR. I do plan to add the Xbox One and Playstation 4 this week.

3. You mean to have the 3DS show up at the top list? I plan to reorganize that list at some point so it's easier to sort through and so that it shows more systems.
