I've been thinking of doing Let's plays on Youtube for a while now, and I'm using the Mednafen emulator to record the game, but I want to add commentary on the video as well. Which software should I use? How do I do it? I'm not very rich so a free software would be the best.

0ddie : Well you will have to record the audio separately, then edit the video and the sound recording together/on top of each other.

You can use Windows Movie maker which is free and available on most Windows systems Freemake is also free. (There's a link to the download in the gameplay window when you are using Mednafen)

Or you can purchase any kind of Video editing software available. Here's a list of some of the highest rated ones http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2397215,00.asp
