Yesterday, I tried this AMAZING panini from my University's little cafe. It had ham, tomato. cheese, and mushrooms in it. There was also this little mayonnaise-like sauce that was included so I could have the option to pour it on my panini. It was so DELICIOUS! My friends tried it before I did; I always thought that they were exaggerating when they told me that the panini was super amazing. As of yesterday, I stood corrected. I don't really know how to describe the taste, but it was so warm, juicy, creamy, and mouthwatering!

So my question to the people of Vizzed; what is the most amazing food that you have just recently tried? What makes it so amazing?

Shrimp with noodles and some secret sauce. It was as if I were eating a piece of heaven! It had just the right balance of flavor between the shrimp and the sauce. Great, now I crave some now, thanks a lot!

Those chicken-filled Mexican casidia (spelling error right here. ) things. They were really good! I had no idea they were as good as they were. It had beans, chicken, and melted cheese. It was really tasty, oh man. They had some in elementary and middle, yet I try my first in high school. I was missing out, oouughh.

I just tried a "turkey and cheese crescent roll-up". It is a crescent (a type of bread if you didn't already know that) with turkey and melted cheese inside it. I can't believe how amazing it turned out to be!

My mom made her own recipe of chicken corn chowder, and it was awesome! We agreed that it tasted like Thanksgiving.

So yet again I've redesigned my favorite food. Currently it's scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage all covered in garlic powder, ketchup, and pepper. It's the best meal ever. By the way everything is all mixed together in a bowl.

I never heard of bacon wrapped hot dogs, nor had tried it.

It was my brother, spefically, my big bro, that showed them to me. and we actually ate it for dinner.. it was quite good.  some of the best stuff I had in a while.

I think too many people are going to use this thread just to talk about foods they really enjoyed. However, Mistress, I know what you're really asking about...

You're asking about those totally mind-blowing, brain-numbing foods that make you feel like you must be dreaming the taste on your tongue, right?  In that case, I've only experienced the sensation a couple of times in my life.  Last year, my husband wanted to surprise me by taking me to a place where the steaks costed $80 apiece.  I've never been to a place like that before and will never ever do it again. It's just not reasonable for us or the right type of lifestyle.

That being said... eating there.... felt like $80 was just... melting on  your tongue.  It was like eating... the food equivalent of gold.  I'd use a certain phrase but it's not exactly appropriate for vizzed.... I hope you know what I mean.

The steak was like... oh my goodness.... the most indescribable thing I could ever imagine.  And even better was the bisque. I've never had bisque and I still don't even know what bisque is.  But I could have died while eating that bisque and felt like my life was complete. I almost melted in my chair from how freaking amazing it was.... I mean.... geez...... just thinking about it, I'm awed.  How do people put stuff like that together?!?!

After working in Kitchens for a while during my late teens, it really does take a great deal to impress me with food.

That being said, at the start of this month, my girlfriend took me to her parents holiday house, in La Mariana, Spain. After looking over the menu of a restaurant for what seemed like hours, one thing really stood out to me, and it took me a while to actually build up the courage to try.

Now, I'm not really a big fan of changing my lasagne around, since working in the Kitchens, I have always made them in a specific way; Mince, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Onion, Bacon (Cubed) and Peppers (also Cubed). But on this menu, they had 'Chefs Special - Crayfish Lasagne'. Deciding on that, over having a Steak Gorgonzola, which is one of my favorite things ever, Was a hard choice, to say the least..... But my god, was I glad I did?

After never trying Crayfish before, at least not to my knowledge. I was skeptic about it, before I put the first mouthful in.

D - E - LICIOUS!

The way the whole meal just tasted better and better with each bite. My mouth was watering from start to finish, and about 3 hours after, I could still taste every single flavor in there. The perfect amount of herbs to compliment the Crayfish, not too much Lasagna, and the Bechamel Sauce was perfect.

As a side, they bring out to you, while you are deciding on what to actually order, they give some small slices of Baguette, with a Nice Garlic style Mayonnaise. Which tasted so nice, I had to bring a tub of it home with me.

Well, I've tried a ton of different candies before but the only one to ever blow me away was Hi-Chew.  Hi-Chews are like Starburst, except made with yogurt and real fruit.  They even have a mango flavor!  The perfect amount of chewiness blended with a more real flavor was a serious winning combination.  After eating these, I don't like Starburst as much anymore because of the artificial taste in the candy (they used to be among my faves).  I buy these candies at a Chinese store/restaurant.  They're really hard to find, but you can find them on the internet.  They're worth the price, trust me!  You can probably find it cheaper in a store that sells them than you can on the internet.
