Apparently at my high school on spirit week it seems the Seniors splash everyone with paint corresponding to the color that grade was assigned. It seems seniors always do crazy things in high school and with Friday the 13th falling on the mythical day of freshman Friday anything can happen. In your high school what are some crazy things seniors have done and on what special event have they done it on?

nightwolf0 :  This to me is just ludicrous.  I'm very surprised the administration ALLOWS the seniors to throw paint on the other kids.  I mean, apparently it's planned and all, but what if... as a parent, I didn't want to buy my kids a whole set of clothes I wouldn't mind them getting paint on?  What if my kid didn't want paint thrown on them?  I mean, is this at least done in a controlled environment?  (For example, the paint is only thrown in one location, so kids who don't want to participate know to stay away from that one place.)

Most seniors pull a prank on graduation day though.  Our class each held a penny in our hands as we walked up to take our diploma.  As we shook the principal's hand, we left the penny with her so that she'd have to collect some in her hand, then place them on the table next to her.  They began rolling off the table and onto the floor, and she was so flabbergasted and embarrassed!  She never got mad, but boy oh boy... we sure did get a laugh out of it! Even I participated, and I was a quiet nerd who never wanted to interact with anyone. I couldn't help but giggle every time a student shook hands with her. It was great!

Then again, some kids just do stupid things. At the school where I teach, a few years ago, some seniors baked some cookies and filled them with laxatives. They passed the cookies out to their teachers, and their teachers became so ill that they weren't able to come to work the next day.  Those kids were cruel and just stupid.  They either thought nobody would put two and two together, or they thought nobody would care. They weren't allowed to walk when it came to graduation day, and I think they were even threatened with a night in jail, if I remember right

yea seniors are very crazy, I have seen my friends, friend who is a senior and when they were to lazy to throw out there trash and so they made a trash room and every time they opened it swarms of flies came out and it smelled like rotten meat mixed with skunk, so when they cleaned it out the vowed never to do that again, and they did it for several more weeks.

That's horrible though!  The parents don't complain about it?  I mean, do the kids that don't want to get paint on their clothes.... do they have to then bring their own lunch?  I could see if maybe it was kept to the gym, but it seems a little unfair to keep kids from getting lunch...

A little fun and games is fine, but it just doesn't seem very considerate, the way your school handles it.

I have heard some rumors about those who are about to graduate putting superglue on the teachers' chairs and putting toothpaste in people's lunch boxes, but I yet have to see for myself considering this is my first year at this school. I hope they don't do what they do at your school, I would feel bad for my cousin if he fell victim to that.

Singelli : The laxative thing is really sad. I feel really bad for the teachers... why the heck would the seniors even do such a thing? That's just unbearably humiliating. Did they ever go to jail or get suspended or anything? I hope they get a taste of their own medicine and have their parents feed them food laced with laxatives.

When I was a senior, lots of pranks were happening near the end of the year. Someone pranked the school by putting vaseline on the toilet seats and on a lot of the doorknobs one day. Seniors also saran-wrapped the lockers shut, and then blocked off parts of the school by a putting inch-thick wall of saran wrap in the way of walkways and stairs. For the cherry on top of this cake, they also spray painted handicap symbols on every spot in the parking lot. (Not sure how these pranksters acquired an ACTUAL parking spot handicap stencil, but they did.) I thought it was pretty hilarious and well-orchestrated, actually.

I heard that a senior threw a water balloon full of urine at a freshman a few years before I came to my school. That's just gross.

Our seniors really don't do anything at all, except for on senior prank "day". But our school is really strict with anything out of the ordinary, literally anything that could possibly be threatening to the students in any conceivable way is received with a detention. As far as I know, or at least remember, is that on one senior prank day, they put glitter all over the school hallways, and some on the lockers. It wasn't really anything too bad or crazy, but I remember it being extremely annoying, glitter ended up in all of the classrooms and I even got some in my lunch...
