To be honest, I don't like any of the so called "story arcs" in Pokémon. When I was younger, I liked the episodes of Pokémon, but later I realized, that the story is just bad-written, repetitive [Almost every episode has the same pattern] and illogical. That, and Ash is still 10 years old. Since the anime started. In 1997.

Pokémon is cool, and I'm a fan of it. But the anime is a shame, in my opinion. Heard that the manga shouldn't be so bad, though. But I'm not planning to read it.

However, I just looked up what the orange islands arc was, and yeah, I think I liked it more than the others. I liked that character called Tracey and remember wondering where he went after that arc, since I didn't watch every episode. lol

I think Ash had the Lapras, Tracy had a Marill and a Venonat.

The timelines don't even add up. There have been several 'summers' and 'winters' yet he's still 10.
