So I finally got the chance 2 c this episode, and this was banned due 2 the flashing parts giving kids or other viewers seizures. I watched this whole episode, saw the parts that caused the seizures, no effect. This was 1 of those episodes I would really watch over and over again due to seeing what really happens when Anti Virus software gets rid of viruses. 1st, they canceled the episode where James had boobs, but decided 2 show it n e ways, next the episode where Ash catches a gain of Tauros in the Safari Zone, but was banned because of a gun where before and after this show aired other cartoons had guns involved on their cartoon, and other episodes that involved Jynx were banned all because of a racial issue? This is extreme ludicrous. They banned episodes over some ridiculous. Yea, some were a couple of reasons to keep some children safe, but after reading why they banned some of the episodes, some are really dumb reasons, but back to this episodes, Have you seen this episode, and if you have, did you get a seizure out of it? Because to tell the truth, I saw nothing wrong with this episode. To tell y'all the truth, they could have edited this episode watch able. They edit Digimon episodes all the time, why not Pokemom?

Yeah, But It's good that 4kids stopped making episode after the 3rd gen.




And here's another dumb reason why 2 episodes of 5th gen was banned:




It was an hour long episode with team rocket vs team plasma. No guns, No nothing inapropiate for kids.
 
They had to skip it due to something.

They were banned for good reasons. Editing it would be hard after they released it and it gave the epileptic effect. The Japanese government cracked down on them hard for making the seizure episode. Just editing it and letting it go would really let Pokemon stop production in every media source they have. The other episodes were banned for good reasons. Don't just bash on Pokemon just because you want to see them. 

The first two Team Plasma episodes, along with an episode featuring Whiscash in Gen III, were postponed because of earthquakes and eventually forgotten or made irrelevant.  There's already an edited version of Electric Soldier Porygon (it's even been translated), but they can't use it.  I did find a subtitled version of it online, and I didn't have any problems.  In fact, I've found all of the banned episodes online.  I don't think any but Electric Soldier Porygon had a very good reason for being banned.  But then, it's not nearly as bad as it is in South Korea.  There, six episodes, including the battles with Erika and Koga, and the first half of the battle with Blaine, all for no reason that I can see.

I mean I can understand the reason 4 the Whiscash episode, but there's some that were nonsense. 1 of those is the Safari Zone episode because of a gun. Hell, Looney Tunes used pistols, rifles, explosive devices. But that was the early days before things got watered down and when getting shot, blood was never involved, just a face full of gun powder. Then it's the whole Jynx being a racial stereotype. Man, I'm African American and wasn't even offended. Yea, some reasons for canceling episodes I can understand (Mostly the Whiscash.), but there's some that r just wack 2 me.

Divine Aurora : actually the Tentacruel episode was not banned but was delayed until the 9/11 incident wasn't really relevant anymore. there was also that time when James had boobs they removed that.



edit: also the part with jinx being changed to purple was when she was black she resembled black face a racist image of African americans. if you don't know what black face looks like google it cus I am sure as hell not putting it here

hunter31626 : still it was banned for a while bottom line is these episodes were banned for a reason and there was solid reasoning behind those episodes being banned and if you really want to see the banned episodes go on YouTube or a Pokemon anime fan site were the episodes are in guide and can be streamed. And your taking about the banned beach episode, were cross dressing and a little to much cleavage was shown
