Yep...were doing this after all the request i get were getting this guy out of the way NOW and dont act like you dont like this pokemon everyone does...well except me...but hey lets get this over with...hey im sorry if it sounds like i hate this pokemon but...i dont like it i really dont besides its the worst starter in gen 1 TECHNICALLY...lets get this started?

MOVESET

At the start charmander will have nothing except scratch and growl...okay this is decent for now but i just wanted to point out that mr mime the pokemon that came the closest to 1/5 had a better starting moveset than charmander...im just saying...but hey these are good moves for now use them

At level 7 we get ember a very good fire type move for now its has a decent base attack damage of 40 so use it...and get used to it your not going to get your next fire type move for A LONG TIME?

At level 10 we get smokescreen...dont use it?

AND NOW WE HAVE CHARMELEON this is actually a very good upgrade for charmander it gets a very good boost in stats and it moveset get a little better but lets keep going?

At level 17 your charmeleon ?will get its first dragon type move dragon rage..this is an okay move for now this move no matter what does for hp damage to the target so i suggest you keep it until this thing evolves into charizard use it if you want?

At level 21 we get scary face...dont use it

Alright are you guys tired of ember...?good because now we have fire fang at level 28 this attack does 65 physical damage and is a fire type move replace it with ember you wont regret it?

At level 32 we get a fire type move that is even more powerful than fire fang and thats flame burst this move does 70 attack damage and...okay its better than fire fang take it...OH WAIT THERE IS ONE DRAWBACK this move hits EVERYTHING IN THE AREA that includes allies and enemys so...its still good i see no reason not to take it but if you have an extra slot i suggest you keep fire fang but still have this move in your back pocket it could come in handy?

Ladys and Gentlemen...we have it...one of the most awesome pokemon ever....CHARIZARD THATS RIGHT AT LEVEL 36 WE GET CHARIZARD this pokemon get a MAJOR INCREASE IN STATS near legendary levels and im not kidding im not go look up its stats its actually stronger than some legendarys like Celebi and shaymin..when its not in sky form but hey let keep the moveset going were almost done with this part?

at level 36 we get wing attack this move is...decent i dont see much of a point of using since you have fire type moves but hey keep it if you want but i dont recommend using it?

Now at level 41 we get slash a...decent move thats about all i can say to describe it i dont know its kind of weird for a pokemon like this to have a move like this but hey keep it if you want...

FINALLY AT LEVEL 47 SALVATION....SALVATION...WE HAVE FLAMETHROWER this is possibly the best thing in its moveset this move has a base attack damage of 95...why would you not take this move take it TAKE IT

Alright fire spin at level 56...okay its...decent but i hate moves that hit 2-5 times so use it if you want...ugh i hate these moves

Now at level 62 we get inferno....now before we begin how about a little bit of creepy facts this move in japanese means PURGATORY....hey maybe that just sounds creepy to me and no one else but thats pretty dark for a kids game but anyway this move does 100 base attack damage and if it hits always burns the target its described as a never ending flame...geez thats just a little dark to me but anyway the bad part about this move is it only has a 50% chance of hitting so use it if you want but i wont...seriously never ending flame of purgatory....my god...

NOW at level 71 we have heat wave this move does 100 attack damage and has a 90% chance of hitting also this move has a 10% chance of burning the target now this is a...decent move i dont like the loss in accuracy but use it if you want?

AND TO WRAP IT ALL UP we get FLARE BLITZ....okay i usually get made here but i have to admit this is a good move its does 120 attack power and 100% accuracy this move is pretty good except you take recoil damage but its still pretty good i recommend you use it?

STATS?

Now charizards highest stat is its special attack which is okay because it does get a good amount of special attacks moves so that deserves a point..sadly its lowest stat is its health and thats going to be a major MAJOR problemon even when it get to max level it still never reaches over 250 health even jiggly puff gets more health than that but guess what and,.,for some reason this is a common thing in my reviews its second highest stat is its speed so once again if you train this thing enough to focus on speed you can take out the enemys pokemon before it even has a chance to attack and this is near CRUCIAL because guess what charizards SECOND LOWEST STAT is its defense...as you can imagine this thing cannot take more than a few hits so i recommend you train this guy to focus on defense and speed other than that....okay tms and hms

TMS AND HMS?

Now oddly this was kind of hard for me to make i had to fight my rival and a few gym leaders just so could get a feel of charizards stats and moves so i could find a good moveset luckily i got one for you guys

Solar Beam
Roost
Sunny day

Im sorry but this is all i could come up with and i found out that this works really well you got sunny day so that your fire type moves are increased oh yeah thats another thing charizards ability increases fire type move up bye half a stage so thats going to be very effective and guess what if you need to heal you got roost also solarbeam will not need to charge it for the next turn this is the best i could come up with and...thats it time for rival and gyms

RIVAL AND GYMS?

There is no doubt about it charizard is very good against your rival and in gyms you can plow through gyms with this guy with out a care in the world just spam flamethrower...im sorry but thats all i got to say just stay on your toes and dont forget that this thing is strong but not immortal FINAL THOUGHTS AND RATING

Final thoughts:okay even though i dont like this pokemon that much i have to admit its pretty good not great but good the one problem i have with it is well...okay you guys might not understand it but...it just feels to safe i dont know like to bland just look at its moveset its not diverse its not thinking out of the box its just your average pokemon but its still a pretty good one i think you should use it and when you do you can burn everything in your path to cinder and as i said before just remember that this thing is strong but not immortal.
