Well guys! All of you have waited such an oh so long time for me to get to 100 reviews on vizzed.com, but today it has finally happened! This game that I am reviewing is indeed the perfect 100th game to review, now you are probably wondering, what is this perfect 100th review to review? Well the title says it all! This is the legend of Zelda the ocarina of time for the Nintendo 64! This game has been critically acclaimed as one of the greatest games of all time, But does RedHotToddy here think so? Let's find out shall we?

Story-10/10
The story begins in a very epic fashion, we are greeted by the narrator that terrible things have been happening in the distinct world of hyrule, then we are shown a dark scary castle on a very dark and stormy rainy day, an evil sin known as ganandorf (Or you can just call him ganon for short) is running off of the castle on his horse with a little girl named Zelda, then our hero link comes in and is shoved away by ganon quickly, Now judging by how young they look in this scene, we then discover that this was a dream this whole time, we are then introduced to our titular hero link, a man who sports a cool little hat and a greenish knight uniform, his little blue fairy dude named navi is telling him about everything terrible that has been happening, and well, our hero then rushes out of his treehouse to start his epic and dangerous quest!

Gameplay-10/10
Zelda ocarina of time is a huge open world adventure game where you take the role of our hero link, as you explore through more then 15 dangerous worlds and dungeons battling off enemies, opening up doors, and well, recovering all the pieces of the triforce! You first start off in the kokiri forest, here you are at very young age, you then get off of your treehouse and start exploring in order to find your sword and shield needed for your big quest, then you are recruited to your first main task, explore the deku tree! Then after all this, you are perfectly ready for the rest of your adventure, the controls are quite simple for an action adventure game, you use the control stick to move link, you use the A button in order to roll and whatnot, you use the B button in order to swing your sword, you press the C buttons to use any acquired power-ups, and the game introduces something new to the table, the Z lock on feature! Through your quest you will have to defeat bad guys, and you must press the Z button near them in order to lock on target them and hit them precisely! But anyways, as you grow older and older in the game, you will get to do alot of more stuff, and these things include horse riding, more exploring, and so on. Each world has it's own crazy boss, and these guys arrange from huge one eyed spiders, giant lizard like creatures, and so on. Link will also be collecting tons of stuff, including bombs, arrows, hearts, and so on. The worlds are big, so be prepared! Anyways, I guess that is it for the main gameplay here!

Graphics-10/10
This game was made in 1998, and for this time, it looks really amazing! I know the N64 wasn't the most powerful console ever (Considering it is a cartridge based system) Unlike the PlayStation which used CD-roms for games, but this was just really mind-blowing at the time. All the worlds dungeons and levels you will be exploring are big, vast, and filled with alot and I say ALOT of stuff to collect. Now as for the actual characters, they look better then ever and have alot of detail to them, Link is your tough hero who will do anything to save the world, Ganondorf is your typical no-good villain who wants to do anything to rule the world, and so on. The HUD is pretty self explanatory, It shows you your amount of health, how much magic you have, and your currently assigned C-button weapons. You know I have a huge thing for games with tons of big levels and depth to them!

Sound-10/10
This is just amazing, the soundtrack in this game is just absolutely brilliant! They are all beautifully orchestrated and really sound like the composers of the game itself put alot of time thought and effort into it, All the songs you will be hearing in each world are bright, happy, and really helps you prepare for where you are going through. Now as for the sound effects, they are pretty darn good as well! You get slashes, booms, bams, and a bunch of other beeps and stuff. Never has the music in this game drove me insane! Because the soundtrack is insanely catchy!

Addictiveness-10/10
You really have to know how much fun this game offers! I remembered getting this game for my 10th birthday and playing it everything single day of the week 24/7! This is mainly because the world itself has never seen a game like this that would change the video game industry forever! This game is fun, challenging, wacky, epic, you name it!

Depth-10/10
This is a long 15 hour quest you got here! And along the way there is alot of stuff to do, collect, and yeah! For one, the game offers a bunch of items that can be collected to be put in your inventory, and some of these include heart containers which will make your maximum amount of health increase and increase, the cap is around 80 I think. And there are other cool things like bombs, arrows, etc. This is really one of those games that you just want to 100% really badly! I know, I do too!

Difficulty-8/10
Nintendo are no brainers for when it comes to hard games, and this is no exception! This game has made me scream quite alot of times! But the biggest example would have to be the freaking water temple, this terrible terrible no good place has been the bane of our childhood for about 20 or so years! The puzzles, the anger, the water level! But oh well, Nintendo is supposed to make challenging games, so don't complain! Some of those pesky bosses can give you trouble as well!

Overall-10/10
Well guys, I never thought I could do this, But I officaly have 100 reviews on vizzed board! Let's all celebrate cheer and shout! It took me alot f work to get this much, and I want to thank all of my friends that helped me! And this was the perfect game to be my 100th review on! I gave this game a 10 because it has so much depth, challenge, fun, charm and all of that other good stuff! Please do yourself a favor and just by this game now! I beg you!
