I want to start playing Pokémon Silver, yeah. I've already played through it numerous times, but never knew you could get Mew. After searching the Internet I found a video showing how to get mew...anyone know if it's true or not?

The mew glitch if you do it right should work. If you do not know how to use it you must be either using it wrong or not using it. You should look on the computer to see if it is trusted and what not before trying it. When you find out how it works you can use it more better than the arceus glitch they have on platinum. The best way if you want to know how a glitch works or not check everywhere so you know it is for the kanto region of Pokémon only. You would like to find out use ask for all the stuff that works it should work if you are a gamer that likes all sort of games. I say these glitches are the same they have the same effect as the others.

Which Mew glitch are you using? If it uses the trainer with slowpoke, than it can only be used in Pokémon Red and Blue(First Gen). If its some other glitch, why not try it?(I got Mew in Pokémon Red once, it learned Pound and Transform at level 7)
