IMO the first one is best Less scrolling is better from a user-experience (I think that's the right term?) perspective, and having a scroll bar in the middle of the box seems to needlessly divide the space, leaving me wondering what the right-hand area is for. (Also colored scroll bar styles are, sadly, unreliable for many browsers and pretty much anybody using a Mac.) Flush left text looks better then centered too.

Its a bit pink... I should say a bit too pink.
Plus where your text starts is on a black bit so its a little tricky to read the start of the sentence.
Plus the pink hurts my eyes
