"How would I describe Pokemon Expert Emerald?, Well Pokemon Expert Emerald is by far the most well throughout,challenging Pokemon hack on Vizzed with a good blend of Pokemon from the first three regions, Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. What makes Pokemon Expert Emerald stand out from other Pokemon Emerald hacks is the fact that Pokemon Expert Emerald is a actual change and the Pokemon are a actual challenge to capture even when using save slots. In Pokemon Expert Emerald the creator in my opinion had one thing in mind...up the difficulty significantly and provide gym leaders and regular trainers with quality high stats Pokemon from the very beginning and make the game harder as the game progresses. Now in Pokemon Expert Emerald unlike so many other Pokemon Emerald hacks, the starter Pokemon are spread throughout the game in pretty odd places so you actually have to search for the starters if you want them instead of the usual the starters are all in the first route of the game. So beware Pokemon Expert Emerald is not a game for the inexperienced Pokemon trainer and player who wants a easy challenge where the Pokemon game takes about literally hours to beat, Pokemon Expert Emerald is for the Pokemon trainers and gamers who want a Pokemon game above and beyond average difficulty where you might even fail repeatedly if you enjoy the extra challenge of nuzlockeing(yes if you nuzlocke this game failure is to be expected). Graphics: 10 "So what are the graphics like in Pokemon Expert Emerald?", Well the Graphics foreseen in Pokemon Expert Emerald are no different from what you would expect from regular emerald. The buildings streets and cities and such are in full animation and color and everything down to the last little detail in and outside the buildings cities in routes are in detail with there own color. The grass has gotten better animation wise, there are two kinds of grass, tall dark green grass which house stronger than normal Pokemon and there are smaller lighter green grass which house generally weaker Pokemon and you can easily tell the difference between the two styles of grass. The water animation has gotten significantly better as well. With the water you can now see your own reflection in the water which gives you a sense you are in the actual Pokemon world, you can also see clouds in the reflection of the water and this goes for lakes as well.Pokemon sprites from the older generations have been placed in this game rather well, the creator did a clean cut job with coding the older sprites into Pokemon Expert Emerald and they actually look like what they are suppose to be form wise and color wise. Sound:10 "What's the sound quality like in Pokemon Expert Emerald?", Well the sound quality is the standard of what you would expect from a Game Boy Advanced game nothing really special about it but what did go above and beyond my expectations would be the fact that the Pokemon sprites that aren't suppose to be in Pokemon Emerald, Pokemon from older generations, there battle cry sounds are spot on for what they are suppose to sound like, and each Pokemon has its own unique battle cry sound, no to are alike. The soundtrack for Pokemon Expert Emerald is the same soundtrack from regular Pokemon Emerald. The soundtrack changes for every route and every time you pass through a different town and enter buildings with in any town. Addictiveness:7 "Just how much were you addicted to playing Pokemon Expert Emerald?", Well I was addicted to playing Pokemon Expert Emerald for quite sometime and I especially could see it to be addicting to someone that enjoys a quality Pokemon hack were the difficulty is well beyond average and what you would expect from a normal Pokemon game. What also contributes to the addicting allure of Pokemon Expert Emerald is the fact that the Pokemon teams seen by gym leaders in this game are by far better than the ones seen in regular Pokemon Emerald and provide a excellent challenge and can keep you stuck on one gym for long hours thus making you glued to the screen wanting to play more. I am highly likely to play this game again because I am a Pokemon trainer and player who really appreciates and enjoys a excellent challenge which this game definitely provides. Story:8 " What's the story in Pokemon Expert Emerald about?", Well the story of Pokemon Expert Emerald is the same story as regular Pokemon Emerald. The story goes like this, Your a young boy or girl who has just moved into the little town of Littleroot and your Mom tells you to go visit your new neighbors house to meet them. Upon going to your neighbors house, you meet May the Pokemon Professors daughter. Next you leave the house and as you walk across the street back to your house you and a younger child hear cries of help made out by the Pokemon Professor know as Professor Birch he is being attacked by a wild zigzagoon. You being the strong headed child you are dive right in to save him and the Pokemon professor lends you a Pokemon to counter the wild zigzagoon. In Pokemon Expert Emerald you will face both evil sinister organizations seen in both Sapphire and Ruby, Team Magma and Team Aqua. The gym leaders and elite fours people are all the same as in regular Pokemon Emerald. There is a all new feature seen in the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon contests and the Battle frontier. In Pokemon contests you enter your Pokemon in the categories according to there move style either cool,tough,smart, cute or beauty. And with the battle frontier there are these 7 silver symbols that you earn by beating frontier brains at their specific factories.In Pokemon Expert Emerald you face both team Magma and Team Aqua like you do in regular Pokemon Emerald although both the Teams grunts and leaders have different and more powerful Pokemon but use the same type Pokemon as they would use regularly. Depth:8 "Just how large is the game Pokemon Expert Emerald", Well the games length map wise and event wise is the same as regular Pokemon Emerald although Pokemon Expert Emerald takes significant more time to beat then regular Pokemon Emerald because of the huge gap in difficulty. The game has plenty of events/things to do in it like competing in the may various levels of Pokemon contests, normal, super, ultra and master and of course beating all eight gyms, or you could make pokeblock in the contest hall or you could capture rare and unique Pokemon in the Safari Zone and last but not least beat the elite four and travel of to the battle frontier and take the challenge to compete and battle your way up in the ranks to battle the the seven frontier brains and earn each of the seven battle frontier symbols. So with that said the game does take a considerable amount of time to beat fully and is a lot of fun so enjoy! Difficulty:8 "So how hard is Pokemon Expert Emerald?", Well the difficultly in Pokemon Expert Emerald really shows early on in the game.The games A.I system is gradually smarter and makes better decisions when it comes to what Pokemon attack it uses. The Pokemon are high leveled from the start including gym leaders Pokemon and I found myself with level 40's-50's at the fourth gym. All the Pokemon teams for gym leaders and regular trainers are re-done and I have to say they are harder to beat and the stats are significantly higher. The game is virtually impossible to beat with just type advantage alone so you do have to put in a considerable amount of time when it comes to training your Pokemon even with the speed bar option. Overall:9.6 Overall Pokemon Expert Emerald is not a hack for the easy going Pokemon trainers who want a fly by game that they can easily beat within hours or a couple of day's, Pokemon Expert Emerald is a game that people who nuzlocke and or generally like a good challenge would enjoy and really appropriate its difficulty a well thoughout game design when it comes to Pokemon trainers and there Pokemon teams.
