Wazzup, vizzed members? Here is my review of a rare compilation game for the SNES called Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. This game features five classic Mario games that are still famous today.

Graphics: 8

The graphics are amazing, especially for an old game. Four of the games featured in this compilation are classic NES Mario games. The original NES versions of the games have slightly dull graphics (compared to modern consoles) but the re-made versions of those games that you can play in this compilation look a lot brighter and more detailed. For example, in Super Mario Bros. 3, the text and "item boxes" at the bottom of the screen in each level used to be black and white text and items but in the re-made SNES version you can play in this compilation, everything is in color. Super Mario World, a classic SNES game featured in this compilation, didn't change at all because Super Mario World is an SNES game and this compilation is an SNES game, too. Because of that, there's no reason to change the graphics in that game.

Sound: 9

The sound is my favorite part of this game. Most of the music is re-made from the NES but there are a couple new songs too. You'll hear a new song the second you start playing this game. The title screen has a brand-new song. Once you get past the title screen, you'll hear another new song playing on the game select screen. You'll hear new songs in many other places, too.

Some sound effects are brand-new like the music. Most of them are re-used from Super Mario World, such as the sound effect you hear when you make Mario jump. Like the music, you'll hear new sound effects right when you start the game. Before the title screen music, you'll hear noise coming from all of the characters in the title screen. Then when you press the start button, you will see a transition effect and you will hear a cool fitting sound effect.

Addictiveness: 9

This game is five classic Mario games in one compilation. Of course it's going to be addicting, especially if you're a huge Mario fan. This game will likely keep you hooked for a long time since all five games take quite a while to beat if you haven't played them before or you're not very good at them.

Story: 8

The stories in all of these games are excellent.

In Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels, Princess Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser and Mario must go through many levels to save her.

In Super Mario Bros. 2, Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Peach must team up and take turns going through many levels and fighting many bosses to finally encounter Wart, beat him in a huge battle, and save the kingdom.

In Super Mario Bros. 3, Mario must go through many levels, beat many bosses, collect items from Princess Peach on his way, and after beating world seven, Mario finds out that Bowser has kidnapped Princess Peach. In world eight, Mario must go through challenging levels to get to Bowser's castle, fight Bowser, and save Peach.

In Super Mario World, Mario must go through many levels, beat many bosses, get to Bowser's castle, and beat Bowser to save Peach.

Depth: 9

This game has a lot to offer. There are five games in this compilation and in each game are many worlds to get past and many enemies to kill. It will definitely take a long time to beat all five games if you haven't played them before or you're not very good at them.

Difficulty: 8

All five games featured in this compilation start out easy but they get more difficult as you progress through them, especially Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels. Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels is a lot more difficult than I expected it to be. Depending on how good you are at the original Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels may be the hardest for you to beat. The rest of the games aren't too bad, though.

Overall: 9

This is a really great game, especially for people that love the classic games included in this compilation. You should try this out whether you're a Mario fan or not because you never know if you'll like it until you try it.

I hope you enjoyed this review! I would greatly appreciate some feedback! Be sure to rate this review too!

Wow, with Super Mario All-Stars+ super Mario World for SNES you can play  five classic Mario games in one game well that sounds amazing! Anyway you did good but I believe a few categories are missing a few more details in it. Besides all this you did great on making this review so keep it up.

B619ook : yeah it's tough for me to make reviews. I'm only 13 and it's hard to be descriptive in each category. Compilation games are harder for me to review. Next review I will probably do a regular game.
