I was informed by my friend Razor-987 that hacked pirate games are actually pretty fun, And the 2 pirates I have reviewed on vizzed Somari and Super donkey Kong 99 are actually pretty fun! But then I found this one called Super Mario world, Judging by the title, I was expecting this to be good, But you should see for yourself.

Story-5/10
Again like most pirate games, I have no idea what the actual plot is, But You can make your own one up for your enjoyment. But here is mine, Mario has been trapped in a pirate game by bowser, And you must help him escape every way he can!

Gameplay-4/10
Super Mario world for the genesis may seem like a simple little platformer, But DO not be fooled, This isn't the Mario bros you know, instead, It is something way different then expected, First, let me point out here that you cannot jump on enemies! Instead you just get hurt by them instead! Second, the attacks and powers you get don't really help because the enemies are smaller then you thus you will easily miss them. Each level in the game is divided into various sections, with the last section being a boss battles, the boss battles are a joke, they are so overpowered you will barely have any luck against them! Oh yeah, the jump and attack buttons are switched as well, A is attack and B is jump, why change what we grew up with?  There are barely any items for Mario to collect, except for the useless power-ups. Anyways, that is it for the gameplay.

Graphics-8/10
If there is one thing that the makers of this game did great, It has got to be the graphics, The graphics do Our favorite plumber just the right amount of justice. All the levels you will be exploring in the game are big, fun to explore, and bursting with color. As for the character sprites, they look pretty good as well, Mario looks great, All of his enemies look good, and Bowser, He looks the best! The HUD is pretty self explanatory, It shows how many lives you have left, and how much health you have until you die.

Sound-4/10
Oh god, for a Mario game you expected really good catchy sounding music, And what do we get Mario fans? We get utterly annoying terrible low MIDI sounding music that sounds like It was composed by Some kidergarden band, As for the sound effects,Oh my god are they bland! You get some classic Mario sound effects, which is good, but the actual sound effects are cheesingly bad, And Mario sounds like some baby's toy whenever he is hurt!

Is this a game that I am going to play again? NO NO! ANYTHING BUT NO! This game has been the bane of pirate games for me! It will forever haunt me in my sleep. I am so glad that all of these pirate games were not released in the US, Or else All the Americans would've been throwing a bunch of tantrums by now.

Depth-5/10
There are absolutely no extras to go through after playing this filthy game, You beat it once, there is no real reason to even play It a second time, The game is pretty short by the way, so you can probably beat It in about 1-2 hours, If you are good that Is.

Difficulty-8/10
I like hard Mario games, But this is going cross the line! This game is so hard that I could not even get passed the first level without some amazing gaming skills! I mean the fact that you can't jump on any enemies makes the platforming more hard then everything else should be! Just saying.

Overall-4.3/10
Most pirate games are really really bad, But there ARE some exceptions! But this one I am reviewing here is not one of them, You must avoid it at All costs! You guys should know why I rated the game as it is, Because it is that terrible! Oh my god, I gotta cool myself down, But anyways, this has been RedHotToddy, And I am signing off!
