The only thing that comes to mind are the slimes in the dragon warrior series. or any rpg series really, but dragon warrior 1 they are the first 2 enemies you face.

9-Volt : A trajectory is like a football or an arrow. A special built-in tool like the fl-etch on an arrow makes the arrow fly straight. Octorocks spit out rocks. Basically they're throwing rocks at you.
