All of us have been scared before, but what has been the most terrifying moment you have ever experienced? Try not to get graphic (like if you saw a person die or something)

For myself, when I was at about the age of 9, my mother and I were at the supermarket. She told me to stay by the shopping cart while she went off to grab a loaf of bread from the bakery. The bakery wasn't very far away, but it was still a distance. I looked to my right (my mother went off to the left), and I saw an old creepy guy. He was wearing all black clothes, with a black cap, with a long gray greasy beard and hair. He was hunched over, eyes slightly squinted and eyebrows slightly narrowed, staring at me. The murderous way he was staring at me looked like he wanted to come over to me and kill me.

So, yeah, that's it. Tell me yours now!

TheFadedWarrior : That moment when I say a Jeff the Killer gif. I swear, it'll knock your pants off. I'd give you the link to it, but I forgot it... you don't want to see it anyway.

The scariest moment I have ever experienced was at Disney World (how stupid). I went through this "Pirates of the Caribbean" maze with my family and then there were these carts on a track on water. The first half of the ride was super slow and peaceful but then we went into a pitch-black area which made me nervous. Then, we ended up riding down a waterfall really fast and I screamed really loud. Like a girl, unfortunately. No one else seemed to be screaming loudly like I did and that was weird. That was bad enough, I can't imagine what a roller coaster would be like

I was in the Marines for six years.  I've been overseas, I've been in some low-intensity conflict.

The scariest thing ever for me was Parris Island, boot camp, in the year 2000.  Those Drill Instructors were more fearsome, the whole training evolution was scarier then anything I've faced since graduating.  After boot camp in the Marines, with the violence, the pain, the anguish, the who gamut of human emotions, real life is nothing.  Easy.

Hmm.. Well.. I rarely get that scared, actually.

Well, Yesterday night, There was this COCKROACH!!

I was naked in the bath, then I saw this thing floating. It was that dead cockroach. I quickly went out of the bath then I did not do anything about it. Plus I screamed like a girl for a second. It was ugly. I do not want to talk about that moment.

More about Cockroaches: One of them crawled on my face when I was 9. My dad dumped 50 cockroaches on my face when I was 10. It was UGLY!! Horrible, and I nearly had a heart attack.. Gross, right? And he did not even tell me before he dumped the cockroaches on my face! D:

But to be honest, I do not really have a favorite.

The scariest most intense moment I have ever been in was when I was in an interview for applying to CGS in front of a board of 3 people. It was pretty intense and I had a lot of papers and stuff to memorize and I was really freaking out about the whole thing and I was so worried. It was extra hard because I had to sound like I knew all of my stuff and memorize everything. I sounded pretty good and dealt with being nervous well and I had been practicing what to say but it was still really tough for me to do. But somehow I pulled together and managed to be confident and strong and I made it and I was accepted for the CGS program, but that was the most intense moment in my life so far. The only other thing that creeps me out is spiders, I am not really bothered by snakes but for some reason I don't like spiders....

The scariest moment that I've ever experienced was when I was about 8 years old. I came home from school only to see my entire house on fire. I was so scared because it was the first major fire that I saw in my life and I thought that the whole house would burn to the ground. Luckily, we lived about one minute from the Fire Department, so they came fairly quick. The got the fire out fast and luckily there was no major damage, so we could continue to live in the house after a few repairs.

The scariest moment I have ever experienced would be last Halloween night. On the Halloween I took my little nephew trick or treating and we went into the house that had a maze like thing set up in his yard and there was a man sitting in the chair but it looked fake so I blew it off as nothing  but then it go up and taped my shoulder and it scared the crap outta me.

SetoKaiba1025 : Hot diggity, man. That has to be the scariest thing this thread will ever get. Good thing your whole house didn't burn down. Do you know what caused the fire?

TheFadedWarrior : I believe that they said it was caused by a loose plug in an electric socket. I think it was the TV in our living room that wasn't plugged in all the way. It was very lucky that the whole house didn't burn down, and it would've if that TV was in a different location. Also, the insurance covered that so we got some money to get the house repaired. I doubt that I'll ever experience something more scary than that.

I have two, so I'll start with the heavier one.

My grandma is a really sweet lady. Every time she visits, I swear I get cavities. She's also been smoking and drinking heavily since she was in her early twenties, so she isn't exactly healthy. Just a few months ago, she had a major stroke and was in the hospital for a week. My mother called my school to let me out as soon as she was called as an emergency contact, and when she told me my dear old grandmother was in the hospital, my heart pretty much stopped. The drive to the hospital was the most horrifying twenty minutes of my life. This happened three or four times after that, each time becoming more and more terrifying.
Thankfully, she's okay, though a little worse for wear from the experience.

And now for the light-hearted one, because now I feel depressed.

When I was 7 or 8, I really like this website that had funny videos on it (I can't remember what it's called though. Repressed memories or something.). One of the videos was called "Love Song" or something stupid like that, so, being a 7 or 8 year old, I checked it out. As the video goes on, the song gets quieter and quieter, and the subtitles smaller and smaller until about twenty seconds in when this horrible face covered in scars and just all around creepiness pops up and an extremely loud scream sounds into my headphones. I jumped back, tilting over the chair (thankfully, we had carpets) and screaming. I snapped the headphone cord across the monitor, knocking it over and breaking the cord.
My mom, who was sitting on the couch reading a book rushes over to me and laughs because (quote) "It was just SO FUNNY! HAHAHAHAHAHA! At least you weren't hurt."

After checking behind me every five seconds and not using the computer, or tv, or anything electronic because WHAT IF IT FOLLOWS YOU? I told my friends about the scary pop up. They just laughed, then agreed it was scary because they had all seen it before. Thanks for the heads up guys. Thanks a lot.

I have two that I guess have been the times I've been completely scared as a kid, and it would have to be when I got thrown into the deep end of a pool before I really knew how to swim or when the microwave caught on fire.
