I invite everyone to play a game with me, a wondrous mod for Source, which you have if you've installed/bought games like Team Fortress 2, Half Life, Counter Strike Source, etc.

First, the description of the game, from the official site

NEOTOKYO° is a first person shooter that aims to provide a visceral & realistic combat experience in a rich futuristic setting. NEOTOKYO° takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai.

As said, it's an FPS between two teams, essentially Red and Blue, or, the NSF, and Jinrai.

It's one of those realistic-type mods. Sort of.

In other words, unless you're the support (Heavy Armour) you WILL die within a few shots to the chest. And you can hear enemies approaching, whether by water or just walking up to you.

This game is very unique though, and each round has one objective: Retrieve the Ghost.
Or kill everyone on the opposing team.

The ghost is an Andriod that forces you to drop your main weapon when picked up. It, after a few seconds or so of holding it, shows the location and distance of every enemy. However, you can't shoot and "link" at the same time, so you must stick on your back and pull out your trusty Pistol.

All you have to do is bring this to your teams' Retrieval point. You win, and you get 1 EXP. You also get 1 EXP for each enemy killed. -1 for Teammates killed.

There are 3 classes: Assault, Recon, and Support.

Assault - Medium Armour, Movement Vision, Uses Aux power to Sprint, Limited Thermoptic Camo.

Recon - Light Armour, Nightvision, Uses Aux to do long-range jumps, unlimited sprint, full Thermoptic Camo.

Support - No Sprint, Heavy Armour, No Aux, No Thermoptic Camo, much health, powerful weapons.

Essentially, the Recon is the Assassin, Support is the Tank, and Assault is your average warrior.

EXP is used to unlock better (or worse) weapons for that round, and the EXP is reset every time you change maps (Or the server is restarted). That is the only purpose of the EXP.

Each class gets a variety of Weapons, Recon, the class I love most, gets nice silenced weapons, 2 Sniper Rifles, and some others as well. They also have Nightvision, and are able to easily see in the dark, and get access to Recon-Only spots in some maps as well, such as vents or chutes.

Support has Thermal Vision, and if you aren't using Thermoptic Camo, he can always see you, even in smoke from his own Smoke Grenade. Lots of health, really slow, big guns.

Assault has Movement Vision, and if you're moving, even if you're in camo, he can see you. Not in smoke though. He also gets a Frag Grenade.

Thermoptic Camo is, as said, Camoflauge. Basically, you are partially invisible if you stand still. You become more, but not completely, apparent if you move, and it sucks in very bright areas, as you are easily seen. It's best used when standing next to an object with varying colors, such as a barrel, to break up your camo-ed silhouette.

Although each class is limited in it's starting weapons, you are able to pick up ANY weapon of a fallen enemy/comrade.

Those are the basic, and most awesome, features of the game. To play, you must of course have Steam and a Source game. I can list the entire list of Source games if someone requests me to.
