Well, hello everyone. I need a little help please. There has always been something that I keep wondering in my head about vizzed. I sometimes see someone who has less posts than me but yet higher than me in level and username brightness. I really want someone to please explain to me how exp works and how leveling up would slow down or become faster. Does it have something to do with the length of the post? Or when you earn cp?

It is possibly due to them having lengthier post than yours. That's all I can think of right now.

EDIT: Oh, and it could be due to their age. I guess.

SadSecrets : Not sure, but maybe lengthier posts does effect it. But when you go to someone's profile, it says how much exp you gain per post. So I'm not sure about that. Also I have seen people who are younger than me with less posts but a higher level.

The best way to earn XP is contributing to the site, like writing reviews. Reviews are always looked at, and rated, unlike threads which usually die out, and don't contribute much to the site. Therefore not rewarding much XP.

Your username turns green when you get older, I think. 

Plus you have to make longer posts to get something called Post experience points. Please make longer posts.

As you can see, I average 35 words per post, and I am on level 51. This explains it.

Black Bot : My average words per post is right now 54. lol.

mohammidroxx3: Plus it matters about posting too. Yeah, I saw your thread. I was just suggesting that you make like 250 - Worded posts in the school section like I did the other day. You make a lot of Posting experience every day by making like a 2,250 worded thread like I did. Maybe write a bunch of reviews or something. That should help.

His would explain it for me, I make lengthy posts and I am reviewing all of the time and for only, 1,741 posts I have lots of post exp, over 200,000 which is a lot considering how few posts I make and how lengthy they are. It is the reviews I make because some users have 3,000 posts and less post exp which is because they are for post count and I make my posts more detailed. I don't know where I stand as in comparison for everyone else but I think I have way too much post exp for such a small amount of posts and I would say like 85% of my threads are reviews, so I am sure that explains it. My average word count is 132 and was 152 before TDV and due to me not writing any reviews lately.

mohammedroxx3 : You get one Exp on the forums for one word you type in your posts. Like, I'm at 500+ posts with Level 19, because I was limited to only one thread a day. So the Exp is based off how many words you post. So Fireproof should get a TON of Exp.

UPDATE: I found a great way and the right way to do this.

You have to go all around the site and not just the Board for posting.

Rate games, rate screenshots, and rate videos.

That will make you get CP, Viz, and maybe even level experience. Try that. That may help a little.

SuperCrash64 : I have also uploaded a bunch of videos to Vizzed Youtube. Maybe you could try that as well. There is a thread where you get a bunch of Viz uploading videos to the RGR, btw.

I am on level 52.. Because maybe I am more active than you, or it is either that you have to do things all around the site. Not just the Board and post all the time. lol. No offence, buddy.

I believe it is based on your word length, not long ago Fireproof had less posts then me but he was a higher level then me, due to him getting much more xp per post then I did because my posts were like 50 words whereas some of his were like 5,300 words which is insanely crazy and nearly an hour of typing for me. So yeah some people do go to crazy lengths to level up. But levels don't really have much use as far as I am aware of. So please don't worry if it is lower than the other people with your post count. Most of the people who have my post count are around level 15 but I am level 11 because I don't really see such a point in levelling up and you only will do insanely long and highly worded posts like Fireproofs 5,315 words if you are making a guide, if not you shouldn't really worry about the exp you gain from it since its not the exp you gain from it, its the content that the post has that really matters the most.

ok guys, so what I have tried was making a game review. It was around 1,500 words. It didn't help.

So long posts maybe doesn't work. I'm going to try some of what Black Bot said, and hopefully it helps.

EDIT: Well, I gained like only 1 or 2 exp, lol. Or maybe it's because I'm idle? I honestly don't know.

It depends on HOW LONG you were a member on Vizzed, and your posts.

Not all around the site or something like that. lol

Black Bot : Hmm. . . Yeah. I think thats true. All the members who has less posts than me but a higher level has been on vizzed a lot longer than me. So I guess I just have to keep posting maybe. Thanks for the info.
