Do you have any instant blinds in your house.

My mom used to put up blankets on the windows the blacken out and darken the light when she had a migraine, but that does not count here.

Ah, my windows have thick pieces of black canvas that go over the windows. When you press the switch on the wall, you can make them go up or down. They're not very advanced but they sure are super helpful.
