Ok well here's the thing, I know basically everything there is to know about Sonic so I have no choice but to correct a few things I'm hearing here

Shadow is NOT stronger than Sonic, they are equal in strength, speed, and intelligence

Shadow believe it or not can't use chaos control without an emerald, he almost always has an emerald with him so it's hard to tell

Shadow is not a robot/android/whatever, he is the original from Sonic Adventure 2, a biological weapon, A LIVING BEING, in the end boss of Shadow the Hedgehog it's explained that one of Eggman's robots rescued him when he fell from the ARK

Shadow isn't evil, he's neutral, he simply does what he needs to in order to get things done

and last but not least, Sonic is obviously better

Actually according to several different canons and wikis etc Shadow is stronger in so much as he can use (or if you prefer, is willing to use) more chaos powers, making him much more versatile in the long run.

Hence why I am asking, I already have enough properly documented lists and such (not fan evidence, exerpts from the shows, games and official books) so I'm just curious as to why Sonic over Shadow since all in all they seem, if not Shadow with more power, then equal to each other.
The other thing is Sonic has a sense of world justice, which can be a huge handicap.
