Firefox 3.5 is now out.

I've been using it for a few hours and it certainly seems a lot faster, RAM usage is still big but it seems to be improving slightly.

Probably not improvement enough to switch from another browser if you haven't done so already, but at least the people wanting add-ons won't have to deal with really slow speeds anymore.

I'm already convinced... just grabbed it myself and Vizzed is loading so much faster now. It's actually really quite nice.


it also does a check for updates of your addons (or looked like that was what it was doing... I skipped over it pretty quick)...

Did they fix up the problems it was having in version 3?
I doubt I'll use it myself, but if its improved enough I might try it.

It's probably compatible but I don't know if it takes advantage of the 64-bit architecture.

Tell me the problems and I can check if they're fixed.

And it's more secure out of the box than IE at least.

If I recall, it had issues with 64bit, like constant crashing and such.
I'd have to either run tests or look around for what other x64 problems it had.

Awesome!!!!! Wow I was way behind using FF 3.0 I really like the new tab feature next to the window where you can open a new blank browser window, very handy for me Appears to run a bit better.

IE I really hate, people should seriously stop using it since a good browser like FireFox is able to display the same on both mac and windows lot better then IE ever could. The most buggey, glitchy, and virus filled browser award goes to IE FF for the win

Firefox for me currently crashes several times a day on average. This is probalby due to it not being fully compatible with 64-bit Windows Vista Platinum.

I'll test it out to see if the problem is fixed.
