Final Fantasy 7 is probably the most popular Final Fantasy game in the series. I just started paying and I am having a lot of fun. I can't believe I haven't tried this game sooner. I really love it!
I am giving the graphics an 8 out of 10. A lot of people say this game has the worst graphics out of the entire series; however, this game was released in 1997, so the graphics aren't as good as some of the newer Final Fantasy games , but I still think the game looks nice, especially because I am used to playing older games. I think they should remade this game for a newer system, but the game and graphics are still good and I usually don't complain about the graphics.         
The sound quality gets a 9 out of 10. The music amazing and very catchy! I have the battle music stuck in my head right now. Sometimes I will hum some of the songs in this game When I'm not playing. You've got to admit the sound quality is way better than it's NES remake.
The replay value also gets a 9 out of 10. I can't wait to play this again. When I beat this game I'm going to try challenging myself more, but right now I'm a beginner, so I grind. When I play this, it is very hard to get off it. The game has the best battle system in my opinion, and the best villain, but I am not going to say any names.
The story easily gets a 10 out of 10. The story is amazing. It super cool and complex and takes a while to understand.There were some parts that made me laugh and others that made me cry. No spoiler intended.
The depth gets a 9 out of 10. I've seen playthroughs on youtube and making 10 minutes videos each takes about 120 videos for the entire game, so it is pretty long. The game is pretty linear at first, but later on you get more freedom to do what you want. There are some side quests you can do too.
The difficulty gets a 5 out of 10. So far the game is pretty easy, but what is really frustrating is the controls. To examine something you need to stand in the right area. I'm pretty sure if you take some time to grind you should be fine.
Overall, I would give this game a 9 out of 10. This game is awesome and If you are a Final Fantasy fan, you should definitely play this. Final Fantasy 7 is always said to be the most popular game. Once you start, It is very hard to stop. If I played this game earlier, I would try a low level challenge by now, but I am not that good, so I will have to wait until I beat the game once. Final Fantasy 7 is a wonderful Final Fantasy game and Probably one of the best games in the series, maybe even the best RPG.

I loved Final Fantasy VII too, although VIII is still my favourite. The story was simply amazing, the many sidequests (especially the Golden chocobo) were really addicting and characters were well developed.

However, it had major flaws. To quote a FAQ I read elsewhere, characters looked like pixelized Lego blocks. They were too square and moved clumsily. Also, the music (I think) was a set back from VI. VII's music, even if it's Uematsu, was way too synthesized. The re-arrangements later on (especially Aerith's theme, One-Winged Angel and JENOVA (piano and orchestra) sounded much better.

Still, I would totally recommend the game.
