I honestly don't think you can really tell what age Mario is. He is one of those ageless characters. But, if you had to place an age for him, I think that he would be around his mid 30's. That is just a roundabout guess though. Like I said before, I don't think you can set a specific age for him. But, heck! He still has those hops! I don't think any Italian plumber can jump that high at his age!
