Have you ever had a date that was just you and another sitting in an awkward silence? How about one where everything went wrong? I've had one or two like that, but one really takes the cake. My first ever date was the worst I've ever had. It was in sophomore  year of high school, and me being a band geek, ended up asking a pretty girl I knew in band class. When she said yes is when things started to get bad. I immediately yelled a WOOHOO!(Cut me some slack I'm nerdy and I don't really go on dates) Everyone in the class stared at me and I was beyond embarrassed along with the girl. Now for the actual date. I met her dad and it started off well, especially when I told him I'm in honor's classes with A's. But then...I accidentally knocked over a lamp -____-.  So after that we are riding in my car and I take her to chiles. Where we waited an hour for a seat(Friday night). So when we get seated and order I food, we just sat there in silence making very little small talk. Then when our food came out, a long time later, it was the wrong order! So we waited another hour for our food and by then, it was almost her curfew and I had to take her back home. So I took her back after putting all our food in boxes. But when I carried the food to the door with her, I dropped all of it! She didn't seem to mind to much and gave me a kiss goodnight. But that was the first and last time I dated her.

Anyone else had really bad dates or am I just a big loser?

No it's pretty common to have a bad date. I might think that you two weren't very close before that and so you seem to have a problem talking to each other normally. I'm not sure how did your date actually go but I'll tell you mine. I was dating my girlfriend for over a year and so I wanted to make her a special date so I took her to Manhattan where you can have the best time of your life. That's the general idea at least. And so I picked her up, went to the subway and reached times square. Then it all started. I tried going to the movies but she refused because she doesn't like waiting in line. I took her to a restaurant, but she refused staying there with the excuse of it being full and crowded. I tried going around and showing her the city, but apparently she wasn't impressed even the slightest. Of course I had to ask her if she's feeling alright and if she wants anything, but there was nothing wrong (or so it seemed). I ended up taking her to central park and eating from a nice deli store next by. So...after the sunset I took her back because she didn't look like she's enjoying anything. She never wanted to do anything beside going home from that point out. As soon as I dropped her off she started cursing at me and telling me that I never took care of her or even cared. I was listening to the opposite of what a person would hear after a date. The story might seem to have a background but the truth is that I've tried hard to go along with whatever she throws at me (well obviously it got worse and I had to break this up since it's more than I could take)

So yeah, it's not really a big deal if your date is considering how hard you tried to make the date great. Accidents happen and doesn't matter if you didn't make a bad decision out of it. My advice is think of her point of view where she's dating you and experiencing the same bad experience within the date, but apparently she didn't seem to mind it. In simple words "she's a keeper". I'm not sure what's your status at the moment but if you want to get her back then try your best and good luck Good Luck
