So I like this girl and I became her friend during this school year and I fell in love with her, she doesn't know yet. Then I found out she likes another guy....I was devastated...Do you think I should still have feelings for her or tell her that I like her?

I think it is best to just wait and see what happens. If she starts to get distant from you then I think you should tell her to see what she thinks of you. I know this a hard decision to make but you will answer it when the time is right.

That's tough. It depends on what you want to do. It's often that when someone confesses his feelings to a friend but that friend doesn't have the same feelings for him, it ends up as the reason for their friendship to go downhill. But if you are ready for that possibility, then I'd say go for it! Maybe she has feelings for you too, maybe she even likes you more than the other guy, but your relationship won't go beyond friendship if no one would confess right? Good luck!

Man, that is terrible. But there is still time. If you express your feeling to her, the worst thing she could say is I don't like you as more than a friend. It really depends on whether you are wiling to be put up for rejection. I really hope that she will say that she likes you back and I wish you the best of luck!

If you don't tell her you will lose your chance with her but if you do tell her and she doesn't feel the same way you can make things awkward and if she does like you back then you break up then that could ruin your friendship it all depends on how much you relay like her and if you think you would be good together any ways good luck

Friend zones are terrible.

I think girls are the best to take advice from, seeing as we guys can't seem to escape it!

But here is my opinion on it: If you just play it off as a friend, the longer you wait, the harder it will be. You will always live with a painful awkward situation that is actually really unhealthy for your. Where you have a hard time being around other guys when you are with her because she just doesn't like you "that way". Now if you DO tell her how you feel, not in a vulnerable pathetic way, but a confident I want to be with you way, two things can happen. 1. She will say she likes you as a friend period. Then the friendship will most likely never be the same, but AT LEAST you don't like with the terrible feeling of being in a current friend-zone. If this happens, you can always try again a couple of months later and see what happens. Or 2, she says "ok".

Now, remember, the longer you wait the deeper the friend-zone gets. So either wait for a good time and make your move now, or live in a emotionally wrecking place that is the friend-zone.

This exact situation happened to me, as well. I may be able to help you, considering I ended up going out with her, and have been for a month on friday!

I started liking her from January, and fell in love with her towards the end of March. I then found out she liked another guy, and it broke my heart into a million pieces. I felt her getting more and more distant. So, I done what I had to, confronted her and told her how I felt. She told me that she didn't know if she liked me in that way, and that she needed to sort things out. I was devastated..

On May 11th, the day before my birthday, she confronts me, and tells me how she now has feelings for me. I was so glad! My many months of hard work paid off.

So, my advice is, tell her how you feel man, let her know that you are in love with her! If she feels the same way, you're in there. If she doesn't, give her time to think and evaluate things. Don't think it's over, like I did!

If the girl your in love with is loving with another guy, I would just wait until she's not in love with him anymore and you'll be the first one in line for her to like.

The way I see it, you're not even really in the friend zone until you do have that talk with her and she gives you the concrete "I just to be friends, period." sort of talk.

If she doesn't know how you feel, and she doesn't even have the slightest idea that you have feelings about her, then I suggest actually holding back and not making any more advances towards a relationship.

That doesn't mean stop being friends with her. Keep being a friend and a companion in her life. Be there for her no matter what happens. Keep hanging out with her and stuff. Maybe even flirt around with her a bit, especially if you've already been doing that. Just don't make any big moves that would tip off your feelings for her.

If you start advancing even more towards her while she has feelings for someone else, most likely she'll think you're intruding or being a pest, obstructing what she wants. Wanting to be with her regardless of where her feelings lie is a very normal thing, but no matter what if she really likes this person she won't let anyone get in her way. So, if that happens, your friendship would potentially just stop happening. If she only sees you as a friend, then you'll still be on good terms with her and just continue to develop that friendship (perhaps to the point where she'll start to change her mind and develop feelings for you too!).

Just be patient. If she just keeps going with the person she likes, and she has a relationship with this person, then it's time to just let her go. You should be happy for her if she's happy with her lover.
