not sure if anyone is having this problem, with nes games they tend to run choppy. and if it's my computer, which someone will say, N64 runs fine, so does GBA.  unless i use mednafen, that is fine. but my save states are on the original RGR. oh well, 16 views and no replies, thanks for the advice.

I have the same problem man, I have to play GBA games in Mednafen because it won't let me change my controls, I tried once and they got SLAUGHTERED, I tried changing them, I click on a button to change it and it changes to like "H" automatically and I try changing another one and it goes to "H" again without pressing any key. N64 games run fine for me

NES games lag for me too, sometimes but not always. My computer is really old, I think 11 years old. It's almost as old as me I think it might be your computer or just your internet browser. Try a different browser and see if that works.

What do you mean by "choppy"? Does the sound glitch slightly?

Mine does that, but only on the NES, and not enough to bother me, so it's probably the emulator.
If you mean that it freezes and skips like a DVD, then that's definitely something on your end.

satanklaw : If NES games are running choppy on the default emulator it probably has something to do with the default sound/video settings with the emulator and/or graphics/sound card.

Have you tried a different browser?

So you have a lot of saves for NES using the default emulator? Does that mean that the games used to run better?

Mednafen is usually the best solution for people having issues with the default emulator. That emulator also allows for full screen by holding alt+enter on your keyboard.

Also, in the future, if you want help with the RGR emulators/roms you will get a faster response if you post them in the RGR help forum already set up for that purpose ;-)
