To start off, the scrolling start screen is semi-amusing,
but the graphics could use some help. If I had epilepsy, I might be in trouble
from the flashing images…
So you go through a few more bad graphics and funky computer
lettering to start the game.
To start off with, you are a floating red, green, and yellow
sphere that mysteriously is in a cave with numerous traps. The object of this
game, you ask? To collect other floating purple things in the cave. As to why,
I don’t know. There isn’t a story line to be found. The ceilings drip liquid,
which kills you in one hit and there’s tons of drawbridges opening and closing.
Those are death as well. Oh and the floors and ceilings, death. Basically don’t
touch anything except for the floating purple symbols, for 100 points, or else
your ball goes splat and you lose a life.
As the sphere you can move left and right and float up and
down, which is convenient. No hopping like mad to make it to different areas.
The music surprisingly isn’t too bad. Not annoying and not
too distracting. Slightly mellow and fits the cave scenery.
At first this game irritated me, mainly because I kept
losing my sphere’s life instantly, but after you get the controls down, it’s
not that bad of a game. So don’t lose heart and keep playing it!
Some extra advice? Use control + f12 for a full screen. It
helps!

Wow, this sounds like quite the odd little game. lol But oddly, I think it could be interesting, and perhaps worth a shot. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

As for the review, this isn't a bad opening. If you could add a breakdown of each category (graphics, sound, etc) and tell us why you rated it what you did in each, that would help balance it out well. Keep on writing.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. I didn't know this would turn into a thread either after sending Vizzed my two cents. I'll see what I can do when I have more time!
