I never saw this game when it came out, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.  I tried to play this game but it starts you back at the beginning of the level every time that you die so after the first level it just seemed pointless trying to continue getting any further.  There looked to be some cool moments from the screen shots posted (Space battles YUM!) but even that couldn't keep me interested in this game.  Not very happy with it, you'd think that game designers would know that you have to make a game enjoyable to play.

This game is one of the best I have played.
It does suffer from a few flaws but it is on par with any "MegaManX" game released on the same console. The thing to keep in mind is that MegaMan is kinda developed around speed. This game can have a similar groove but is prone to platforming puzzles and memorization that is common in Mario games of the same generation.
Difference being is you have a few guns and lightsaber.
The only parts most have issues with are the land speeder levels.
I recommend google-ing for info on how to pass those spots.
The rest is just trial and error.
Keep hitting it and see what happens.
