For those who want to change the time and day of the week in the Gold, Silver and Crystal versions of Pokemon, read below:

Pokemon Crystal
I recently (as of 6-18-09) replaced the current Pokemon Crystal rom with one that allows you to change the time of day. To do this, after you've received the PokeGear (which you get from your 'mom' a few minutes into the game), go to the PokeGear and to the screen that shows the Day and Time. Simply pressing up or down will change the game's Clock.

Pokemon Gold & Silver
On the title screen, hold the following keys:
Select + Down + A
(which translates on your keyboard to: Backspace + Down Arrow + X)
Here is where you type in the code that changes the time based on the code you enter.
To figure out the code, use the calculate on the following website:
http://www.legendarypokemon.net/index.php?page=pass

I hate to make you revisit this David but the other day I was playing Crystal and realized the clock doesn't change unless your playing, now is that how it normally is supposed to be or what. I have to change the time every time I play so it's accurate to what time it's supposed to be, you follow, lol. It's a pain in the neck and kinda doesn't help with the game progress. Maybe it's because it's an emulator, I don't know but figured I'd let you know since I seen this thread.

Yes you do have to reset it each time I think. However, I think once we make the games playable with VisualBoyAdvance through the Vizzed RGR Plugin, that problem will be gone.
