Well, the title says it all. How long do you let your finger nails as well as your toe nails grow until you cut theme. Personally, I can't stand long finger nails. I always have to cut them when they grow over the end of my finger. My toe nails never bother me too much, but I still cut them when they start to grow over the end of my toe. How long do you let your finger and toe nails grow out?

I don't cut my nails I let them grow maybe 1-2 inches then I file them down and smooth out the tips.

i kind of bite my nails , so they don't get long at all .

Not long at all. I hate long nails, so I cut them once or twice a week. 

I usually wait a week, or 2 weeks top. My nails grow kind of slow though, so they don't grow more than past my fingertips

About once every Week.

Every now and again it is a week and a day or two.
I have hair that grows fast too.

I cant work very efficiently if my nails are long. Nor can I play my guitar effectively.

Besides.
I do almost all of the cooking.
I would hate to toss a ton of leftovers due to people having issues with my nails.
It would be too wasteful for me to bear.

Who would want to have long nails anyway?
I saw a clerk with long nails and she couldn't pick up change off the counter.
How does anyone get anything done with those things?
Aside from that who told women it looks good anyway?
It is just too silly if you ask me.

I try not to let my nails get to long because it is kind of annoying, but I am a bit forgetful, so sometimes my nails get a little bit long.

I think if you crack your fingers it grows back fast cause i crack my fingers and it grows back fast!

I have a terrible habit of biting my nails, and I haven't been successful in stopping yet, despite numerous efforts. It's especially bad when I'm stressed out or driving. So... my nails never get cut because I always bite them short.

I don't let mine get too long, but they do have to reach a certain length. If they're too short, then it can hurt to try to cut them. The only time I know they're too long is when the nail is leaving indents in my skin and it hurts.

I only let them grow for about a week before re-clipping them....

MoblinGardens : Mine almost get grown for a month, then I cut them, then let them grow for a random amount of days, then  again cut them. that's my lifestyle

I let mine grow out pretty dang long. when you can scratch people without using any force or pressure at all, it's time to cut em. I only cut my toenails when I decide to pain them. Which is like once every 2 months.

Hmm I have never really set aside a time I do it, normally when they get sharp I will take out the clippers. But I don't really have a schedule on when I do it. 

Yeah, I don't arrange a time for it but, I keep them very short. I clip them when they get a little sharp, so I clip them only when they are sharp.

not too long, I'll usually clip them when i notice they are long. which is like about 2 weeks

I let them grow around 1/3 of an inch past the skin. I like long nails. 

Mine only got to around 1/4 of an inch off before I had to cut them.
