Easy, just tell a story about any kind of car trouble.

My truck broke down today...again. Anyways I have a better car story then that, so here It Is. It all started when I had a flat tire on the highway, I walked to find a phone and after I made a phone call about one hour and a half I got my tire fixed and went on my way. Little did I know that someone stole my licence plate. The next day I took my sisters boyfriend to his probation officer, on the way out we got pulled over by the cops. The police man ran our names after he got back to his vehicle. It wasn't long and he got out of his car and standing behind his car door pointing his gun he yelled "hands out the window!". I immediately threw my hands out the window while my brother in law was just sitting there. I told my brother " GET your (censored) hands out the window!" Anyways he had a warrant from a different state and got locked up. I was let go, free to go home.

BtotheH :  Not about me, but my dad told me this.  Its hilarious.
My dad was driving on the highway, and some guy tried to go around him, but wasn't able to because another car pulled up next to my dad and blocked him.  The guy flipped and started honking at my dad.  Once the other car left, he pulled up next to my dad and gave him the finger.  My dad laughed at the guy and made a face like, "seriously?"   The guy started to swerve back and forth on the road to scare my dad, but he swerved too much to the left and crashed into the barrier.  He was fine, but the way he was driving, he deserved to crash.

I have so many stories that we would be here all day and night for a month just reading the info I graced with the typewriter.
My favourite problems with a cars are Brakes, Oil or general fluid changes, and Alternator (or any electrical) issues.

Brakes are kinda fun because many are half "Disk Breaks" and half "Drum Brakes".
(Two of disk in front and two of drum in rear.)
The real fun is that they require two different tool sets and precautions to take.

Alternators are always fun because you can have the item tested but we the consumer can not have a device installed on the car to tell us when the thing goes out. I once knew a dude that changed 3 batteries (at $80.00 Bucks a pop) before learning his Alternator was shot.

That's one time he should have spent about $100.00 Bucks and been done with the issue.

But modern cars have a thing about Sucking Money out of a person.
...
Even if they are used.

I might feel different once I get out of a state that forces a new fee on a car for pollution reduction every other year.
But.
Designs each town to require a car to do anything.

What fool decided that every Grocery Store to be 30 miles apart to be better for a town?
Then have every Laundromat 10 miles out from every housing and apartment complex?

Merely going to the bank..(You'd think they would want a close eye on any development) is a 30 minute adventure to even get to.

I can go all day.

Good Luck To All.
That's it. I'm Done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.

A quick story, I procrastinated on getting my oil change in my old Dodge Ram, and the engine blew. One of the rods from the engine nearly came up through the bottom of the truck, and I was stranded on the side of the interstate at 2 in the morning. The next day I bought a brand new Ford Focus that I'm still enjoying.

But hey. Get that oil changed. Don't procrastinate on that. It's not good for you.

I have never had a situation where my car broke down or anything, but I can certainly give a story about a van I was in breaking down.

So a few years back me and my friend were covering for someone while they were on holiday, the job we had to do was deliver food and toiletries to elderly people who couldn't get around to do this for them self. Anyway, after our work was done, we started to head home and the van suddenly stopped working. Right in the middle of the motorway none the less xD So we carefully pushed it to the side of the road to have a look, and managed to get it working enough for us to get home. It was only when we started the van up we noticed the mile clock said 666, we couldn't help but laugh lol

metroidhunter72 :   That Is a pretty funny story lol. I'm glad nothing else happened, road rage issues can be very dangerous. It sound like that guy got what he deserved and your dad was an Inocent bystander caught up In some road rage. Thanks for sharing lol.

pray75 :   I know the feeling of blowing up a motor because I kept putting off changing a water pump or changing the oil. Glad to know that you have a car that you like. Thanks for the reply and nice to meet you.

EvilAlu : I have seen that number come up In video games or on the cash register In stores, I always buy something else If It comes up on the register lol. But yea to see that number when your vehicle goes down Is crazy! lol.

orionfoxgibson :   That's crazy how companies or law makers make It so the consumer has to pay more money then they should. I hope you will share some more car stories as I have a lot of them as well lol. Thanks for the support bro.

Wrecked my first car over the summer. Some jack wagon pulled out and hit me, good thing we were in town and we weren't moving very fast.
Still even with me going 25 mph, and him pulling off from being stopped, both our cars looked like a demolition derby. Made me think that today's cars aren't held together very well. Junky crap.

Xenomorph12 : Yea you bring up an Interesting point. A long time ago cars were made out of steal, now cars are mostly made out an aluminum frame
and a fiberglass shell. I would hate to get In a high speed wreck In one of those little Hybrid models. Glad to hear you didn't get hurt that bad.
