So, I signed up on Vizzed on my old laptop. It mainly played the low demand games. I just got a new computer and have been playing a lot of different games. I'm looking for a controller that works on Vizzed. Anyone know of any that work or will a wired Xbox 360 controller work?

As long as you can connect the controller to the computer there is a way to make it work. You can in fact use controllers from old consoles such as the N64 using an adapter. Any PC controller will work with the games on Vizzed. I for one use a wired 360 controller. Unfortunately the D-Pad is crap.

Thanks for the answer. I might just get a wired 360 controller, but where could I get an adaptor, and an estimated price? I have controllers for the 64, but the 30 would work as a universal controller, wouldn't it?

All controllers that you can use with your computer will work with anything that works with a controller. If you want to use your N64 controller which will be great for playing N64 games on here you might want to look on Amazon or Ebay.

If it has USB it works. So you could even use an atari controller if you wanted to.

I don't care what anyone says, skin color doesn't determine your personality, taste in music movies, ect.

I'm gonna try that now. Thanks for the quick responses though. I most likely will just get the 360 controller since I got a Wal-Mart gift card.

kanbay2 : If you do, ensure that it is wired. I think you can get a wire for a wireless one, but I think in total it would cost you more. I don't know how much wired 360 controllers are because I got mine as a gift and I don't know the exchange rates very well.

I checked the prices, they are $50 for wired, but gamestop sells ones they have made for around $21 used. I'm probably just getting the cheap used one. Thanks for the help!

kanbay2 : I would actually recommend a logitech controller.
They work for all games in the Retro game room.

If you don't have the money you could just get a Xbox controller since they work well.

It kind of depends on preference. I personally like Xbox 360 controllers more then PS3, or Logitech. If you preferred an Atari 5200 controller (oh dear god why), then you could probably make it work with a little bit of tweaking and the right adapter.

I am gonna check the prices on Logitech controllers now, but what kind of games won't be able to use 360 controllers?

I use my PS3 controller personally, it already comes with the wire needed (obviously) and it costs nothing.
Just a quick download of a safe file, and you can use it with any online game, and it works really well.

I used to use my PS3 controller, but for some reason it eventually stopped working with my computer, so I was pretty much forced to use my 360 controller. I don't own a 360, I have the controller only for playing PC games. And I barely use it for that any more since I prefer to play a lot of games with a mouse now. I only use it for emulation now.

Yeah, I'm just selling my $50 Wal-Mart gift card for $50, then getting a Logitech controller on Amazon. Its only $20 so I might get something else.
