-In most Pokémon games and this one especially, It is a good idea to keep the types on your team at a good variety considering the Unique gyms to it's region and you mufti type using Rival, types will get you through this game with ease. 

-When you feel your Pokémon are under leveled, do what most people refer to as "Level Grinding" and I as "Training". Depending on type, level and, wanted level, there are a variety of patches of Grass, Caves, and areas of Water so do not Restart or quit, take your time and be patient with it.

-With Rom games, I would suggest not using Pokémon that must evolve by trade unless there being traded from an AI because there is no possible way that I know of trading from player to player.

Hints

-From the time you start to the time you end I also suggest talking to and taking everything you see for the fact that it might come in handy later on in the game.

-In Celadon which for those unfamiliar with this name is a town in game where you can 1-Buy Evolutionary Stones, 2-Be given an eevee , and 3- Find the game corner where you can spend coins that you have earned to buy technical machines , items, and Pokémon.

-Lastly if there is a Pokémon that you can't seem to find that you want to make an addition to your team, check your pokedex for that Pokémon because it will most likely have the location of that wanted Pokémon.

Well this is somewhat good tips and hints , im might use them when playing pokemon fire red one day .

Don't really see how these are useful tips. Most are pretty much no brainers. If you are underleveld, of course you would level up (level grind/train). That is kind of the point of the game in the first place. Who is sitting there racking their brain to come up with leveling up to fight stronger enemies? The only helpful thing that not EVERYONE could come up with on their own would be the not using ones that evolve via training. But you could always play the hack version of Fire Red that allows all Pokemon to be acquired.
