Which of these legendary ninjas do you like best? For me its an easy choice, I am a Sega collector and play Genesis daily, so I have spent many hours playing the Shinobi games. For me Shinobi is much more enjoyable. Ninja Gaiden is an awesome game and is one of the best Nes game, but the game is crazy hard and is not a game I would want to play after a long day to unwind.

I'll go with Ninja Gaiden.
I agree that Shinobi was Fun But The two games are vastly different.
In one game you slash your way through. The other you toss a ton of stars and use more impressive and flashy magic.
Both are platforms but one uses a more tried and true set-up of side scrolling shooter. We had ton of those games back in the day.
I am more of a fan of slashing my way through. Plus you get a feeling of speed when you charge through ninja gaiden. I'd be lying if I did not say I enjoyed Shinobi.
But the cut scenes in Ninja Gaiden and the fact there was at least a wee bit of a plot??
