marcushoward: I've been waiting for one ever since New Super Mario Bros. Why does SMB get all the love? Why not World? I thought that it was better than all the NES Mario games. If they do, I just hope they make it like the original. No wall jumps, Yoshi is almost every level, like in the GBA version, the ability to switch to Luigi whenever you want to. 

   Now, I don't want a complete remake. Same levels and stuff, because why would you when you can just play an older one? Kind of do what NSMB did, but do it right. Bring back the music too. I love that tune. And if they do happen to do it, the bosses should actually be somewhat hard.

I would love that, personally. The first one was awesome, and in my opinion, better than the others. You just can't beat a Mario and Yoshi team up in a platformer game. I can only imagine playing them in 3D. Should it be just 3D graphics, or a 3D world? I'd prefer the latter myself.

I really want one! But come to think of it. Super Mario Brothers U was a lot like SMW. They had huge overworlds, hidden 3up crescents, baby yoshis, the koopalings, and hidden exits (Rare, but still there are some hidden exits). I might be alone on this but while playing it I thought NSMBU was almost like a second SMW

Well there is Super Mario 3D world which I guess counts as a Super Mario World. Of course it is so much different to Super Mario World but Super Mario World 2 was completely different to the first one.
I was disappointed with this one, it was not what I really wanted. To be honest I would be satisfied if they just remade it with enhanced graphics. Yeah seeing yoshi and mario riding together in 1080p or on the 3DS in 3D with graphics like Super Mario 3D Land would be a treat.
