When I bought this forum I was told that I cannot change it, It must stay a Travel forum that really ticked me off, So I was wondering, would you help support me in convincing Davideo that there are enough users that want a Smash Bros forum?

Did you ask him can you make it a travel and smash bros forum? This might not get approved but its an idea. There definetly should be a forum for it. 

Well, I guess I will stick my hand in.

Look at street fighter and bloody war. What you see is most of the time what you get. There are combos, but they really just involve double tapping a direction and using some assortment of keys. With super smash brothers, there is far more than meets the eye. When most of you play it, you see some game. You button mash and eventually you win. Super smash brothers is far more advanced than other fighters.

This is a game called super smash brothers melee. While some of you might just see the outside. As you can see, there is far more than meets the eye. This is why I think a super smash brothers forum would be a good idea. Those who don't support it are probably unaware of what this series can do. Support the forum. There can be sub forums for each game, guides to each character, and discussions.

While I completely agree that it would be a great forum, I also think that David had a reason for insisting it remain what it was. I don't really think we should try to change his decision, out of pure respect for him.

However, I understand that sometimes a leader/owner of any sort can use suggestions, so I won't try to convince you to stop. I do apologize that I opted not to pitch in here. Though I do think a smash bros forum would be cool.

I am all about respecting decisions, and I will urge you to not take this too far if he does outright say no.

I would also like to add that I would gladly help pay for a smash bros forum, if you'd like. Though I doubt you would be allowed to rent a second one unless this one starts to thrive. You could however, get a friend who is interesred in this idea to rent one though.

That would be nice to have that a forum. I am on your side on this one bombchu

why did you buy it then? You should have asked for a new forum.

thenumberone : I already tried that, but Davideo said that a Smash bros forum would be useless. :/ and he wanted to keep it to one forum per person, that's why I jumped at this offer.

cause we already have have a smash sub forum. 

Why don't we just bring activity to the sub forum instead of waiting for Davidio to let us have the forum.

So, yeah, sorry, but you know what I would like? How about a cave story forum? It's an awesome game
and we could talk a lot about back stories and the various mads made of the game.


Or a starfox and metroid forumn wouldn't be a bad idea.

Oh, and ender44, so that how much different Melee is from brawl, sheesh, now I feel like I've been playing the watered down version
of smash bros. All I've ever played is Brawl, but in Melee characters don't float like they're on the moon.

I recognize that we have a sub-forum. But, we do also have a subforum for Mario, mother, and Zelda. And there is a lot less depth to those games than there is to SSB.

P.S: I want to talk to David about a star fox forum...

I think it's pretty simple.

No just simply means no. If he says he does not want a Super Smash Bros forum, after several times with absolute reasoning, then it's pretty clear that there really shouldn't end up being one.

If you don't want the forum, then just get it up for auction again, since, as you have said, he clearly stated he wanted this to stay the same, Nya~.

Nope. I have no interest in Travel. I haven't even really posted here till now I think, and if I have, the posts were probably too insignificant to remember.

But if you really do not want it, there's no point holding onto it when others clearly showed interest in it, Nya~.

Sword legion : I have no issues with that. I like starfox, though I've played very little metroid. As for helping rent one, I'm not opposed to that either.

Personally, I think it shoudl stay travel, or else I would just try to make a Travel Forum again, to be honest. And my Armed Forces Forum does not get much action, surprisingly so since people have so much to say about the Army sometimes.
