Game history/Game background-Well this is Gamefreak's 5th Pokémon title to come out for the Game Boy Advanced system/handheld device. And it's Gamefreak's 12th title in the franchise all together for Japan(for American its the 11 title in the whole franchise). Pokémon FireRed is an well thought out all authentic classic remake of Pokémon Red, the first Pokémon game ever to be released in the United States. Pokémon Firered stayed true all the original Red Version layout/landscape and gym leader/elite 4 wise, But it does have all  new features  not seen in the original Red Version like islands 1,2,and 3, and how you would go about unlocking mewtwo's cave, and the a(n) all new feature to the franchise it's self, ultimate Pokémon starter type moves(for water starter:hydro cannon, fire starter: blast burn, and grass starter: frenzy plant).

Graphics- Graphics scored a perfect 10 out of 10, because for one thing they are clear and just about as realistic as it gets. The color scheme/colorization for the details in the game are at there peak. The games graphics are what you'd expect from a Game Boy Advanced game. Also other reason why the graphics got rated so high is because mostly all Pokémon hacks on Vizzed(graphics wise) is based off of this game.

Sound- For sound, Gamefreak kept the sound in this game the  exact  same as the sound heard in original Red Version. So for sound, if you liked what you've heard in Red Version you will enjoy what you hear in this remake(FireRed). In my opinion  Gamefreak should have came out with a new sound track for this remake, but either way the sound quality is what you would expect from a Game Boy Advanced game, so for sound I gave the game a 10 out of 10.

Addictiveness-This game is highly addictive because it takes you back to when you were a kid(for you old school Pokémon players) and allows you to play the events in the original Red version to the T, just with newer, more up to date graphics, and sound quality(Pokémon cries wise). It has a lot of reply value , because it's  in my opinion how a remake of an old school game should be, enjoyable to older players as well as new comers to the franchise. I spent many hours training and basically playing through this game leaving no trainer left battled, so for addictiveness  I gave this game a 10 out of 10.

Story- Well the story is exactly the same as original Red Version, the only difference  is a(n) new event is the side story of Islands 1,2, and 3, located east of  cinnabar island. So because of this the game does well in the department of being a good classic remake, but poorly in the department of offering a good interesting story twist on a classic game remake. So for story, I gave the game a 7 out of 10.

Depth- The game offers Pokémon fanatics the chance to play through one of the first two Pokémon game ever made, in  full quality color and way better facial graphics and design on the people and buildings  as well as Pokémon, with better  landscape details as well. The game's a little bit longer then the original because of the island 1,2,3 add on to it. After you beat the elite 4 if you didn't all ready catch the legendary birds, you can do that. But you can't enter mewtwo's cave without the national pokedex which in my opinion Gamefreak should have kept that like it was in the original Red, where you could enter mewtwo's cave right after you beat the elite 4. Well the game take's a fair amount of time to beat, with out using the speed button I estimate a time about in the range of 4-5 day's(if you take your time). So for depth I gave this game a 8 out of 10.

Difficulty- The games not very difficult at all.The A.I. Is fairly easy to beat if you have the type advantage, you don't really need any Pokémon over level 50 to beat the elite 4(that only applies if your using a well balanced team). The difficulty hasn't changed much quite frankly at all from original Red Version, so for difficulty I gave this game a 7 out of 10.

Overall- This game is probably one of the most favorable remakes for the Pokémon franchise. All it's graphics and sound are based of the original, just updated to a higher more modern quality. Story wise Gamefreak did a very great job keeping it original, so overall I gave this incredible classic game (what you should expect for a remake) a 9.5 out of 10.

What can I say? Another great review! Keep up the great work, man. Somehow I failed to note that this was a remake of Red. lol

Anyway, keep up the great work like that. The way you broke the categories down, the detail, it was good.
