Hello! I decided I should do a review of this game because it is very unique compared to other Super Mario 64 hacks. It has a bouncy camera and better graphic shading, which is why I think it is so unique.
Graphics: 9
I rated the graphics really high because almost all of the graphics are brand-new and some of the graphics (including Mario) have a different kind of shading and I've never seen that kind of thing before in a Super Mario 64 hack until I played this one.
Sound: 8
All of the music is brand-new, just like the graphics. The creator of this game (Skelux) did a great job at making the music sound amazing. I recognize most of the music in this game because I'm a big gamer.
Addictiveness: 8
This game has 10 more stars than the original Super Mario 64. Not all of them are easy, though. There are some challenges at the end of the game WHICH I AM NOT TELLING YOU BECAUSE IT WOULD COUNT AS A SPOILER. Overall, the game is pretty easy though and I like playing it a lot.
Story: 4
I rated the story low because the story is exactly the same as every single Mario game: Princess Peach gets taken away by Bowser and Mario has to rescue her. It's a great story, but it's just same old same old all the time.
Depth: 8
Like I said before, there are 10 more stars in this game than the original Super Mario 64. There's more to do, there's more fun and more challenges.
Difficulty: 7
I don't rate it too high because it does take a long time to beat, but if you've played the original Super Mario 64 and beaten it 100%, this game will seem like a piece of cake (Princess Peach's cake, that is). If it wasn't for the challenge that you get at the end of the game, I would've rated it lower.
Overall: 8.5
This game will probably be one of the most fun Super Mario 64 hacks you ever play, and I like everything it has to offer. It's perfect the way that it is, and I don't know how Skelux could make this better version of this hack any greater. If you don't like the bouncy camera or the lack of glitches, then you can just play the original Super Mario Star Road but I recommend you stick with this better version.
