It will be available to download in episodes, making you have to pay for the game multiple times...

I've been playing it, and it's a pretty good story so far. You get to play many NPCs from FF4, as well as the old crew. The villain seems interesting, although they don't give anything away at this point. The thing that annoys me is that you have to wait so long (about a month) inbetween downloads. The first set of downloads gives you (if I remember correctly) 2 or 3 chapters, and then you have to wait until the release the next ones. It doesn't take long to get through them -- maybe 2-3 hours -- and it would have been nice if Nintendo would let you download the new chapters after you finished the previous ones. That way the storyline is still fresh in your mind. A lot of the things that happen are simultaneous, which I think is also interesting.

I'm not sure -- The chapter doesn't end until you beat a mini-boss so I'm sure you could theoretically get to level 99, although that would take awhile. Right now I'm playing to get the most out of the story. Maybe after I finish it I will go back to level up. Good question, though. I hate how much of a money grab this could be. Having to pay per each episode is really annoying. Ever since enix merged with square, it's been all about the money, as can be seen by FFXI. I like the idea of it, but I probably won't buy it, unless they release it all at once in one bundle.

I'd have to say that square enix is a company that just won't let go of their games. they recycle them to where the francise won't have any more respect... I do respect the FF francise, but they need to make more sequels to tye up loose ends.

I'm sorry for reviving this topic which seems to have been dead for about a month, but I figured I'd bring up something about it that irked me:

you have to buy the entire game in little pieces.

Now I know it was originally a cell phone game that was in Japan, but I really didn't like it when I got to the part with Kain and the hooded man, and then after that the credits started rolling. I already bought the game itself, and I still don't understand why I'd have to shell out almost thirty more dollars just to get the rest of it. Call me old-fashioned, but when I buy a game I expect to actually get it, not having to pay for it further after purchasing it.
