Just dropping by to introduce myself. I've been playing games since before I could walk, and its awesome to find a place where I can find all of them.

Welcome! Glad you joined us. And with a gaming legacy like that, you must have quite some experience with games. What are some of your favorites? And I can identify with you there, because some of my earliest memories are of me playing Super Mario Bros.

My earliest memories  are of playing a racing game on a ColecoVision, and Sid Meier's Pirates on the computer when it first came out, but I don't have most solid memories of those systems other than the weird controllers. My favorites? I have to put them by system

Nes: This is where it started. Of course the staples of Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt and Legend of Zelda were staples, but then again so were the Mega Man games, especially 3.  I loved the music of that game, particularly Magnet Man's level. I spent hours playing through that one. Also, I couldn't get enough of the Castlevania games. Metroid needs a shout out as well. Standouts in this system for me are still Crystalis and Faxanadu, although I hated the latter's code system - it was a horrible day when I forgot miswrote a letter.

Gameboy: Ah, the green and black screen. Super Mario, Wario, Gargoyle's Quest (one of my favorites), Metroid 2, Final Fantasy Adventures, Link's Awakening. Of course Tetris was in that back a lot. SNES: I could wax poetic about this system. The games, oh happy day the games. Link to the Past, Mega Man X (and its sequels), Breath of Fire (1 & 2), but what I loved the most were the Final Fantasy games.  Cecil turning into a Paladin is still a moment that gives me chills, and Locke is one of my favorite characters. Couldn't forget Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, F-Zero, Super Metroid, Clay Fighters,

Sega/CD: Lunar the Silver Star Story. This wasn't the first rpg I ever played but it certainly got into the genre. Its one of my top five games. I would recommend folks check out the original before seeing the remakes. I spent days on the Shining Force series.

PS : I loved this system too. So many games came out for this one. Gotta talk about FF7. I'd be remiss not to. My favs for this one were Vandal Hearts, Beyond the Beyond, Legend of Dragoon, Tales of Destiny, Grandia, Xenogears(another personal favorite), Breath of fire 3&4, Persona.
s
PS2:  SO MANY MORE GAMES! Again, Final Fantasy gets mentioned, so does the .hack series. Xenosaga, Persona 3&4, Soul Nomad, God of War, Wild Arms Alter code F (this remake is so much better than the original),

So there's more but I'm falling asleep at my computer so I'll cover the rest once I wake up again.

Now that's what I'm talking about! lol Loving that list. Crystalis? Who actually remembers that one? And yet it was epic. And the Castlevania games? Awesome stuff. So many good games you mentioned here.

This looks like the start of a beautiful friendship. Lol!
