The 8 Mario party game. Lets start this review

Graphics as we All knew Nintendo wii was a very powerful system but lacking in comparison to the 360 and PS3 . Anyways these graphics are very sharp and crisp. It looks very similar to Mario party 7 on the game cube. All stages have their own Mario related detail .Like for example Captain goomba is wearing a pirate hat . Which looks very similar to the Hats that the Mario Characters wore . In Mario party 2 for the Nintendo 64 . Graphics gets a 7 these are some nice looking graphics.  my only  complain is their are not a lot of stages to choose from. Sure you have a lot of characters but the Easter egg stages is what usually made Mario party so great

Sound as usual You have some very nice themes to go with the Stages my favorite one would be The Captain goomba stage. And you have your Mario characters . One tip I can give you is to not buy heckling voices. Why Because its so annoying and the Wii remote controller is so light its hard to stop doing the heckling voices and their is no way you can turn it off. Sound gets a 9 the heckling voice issue did make me get rid of my save file. So I took away a point in sound for that reason


Addictiveness really I don't enjoy it nearly as much as the other Mario partys . Reason 1 the stars are always in the same location . In most of the stages so it makes it so easy to get 1. Reason 2 their is not a lot of stages their is about 6 or 7 of them from what I can remember . Its been a while sense I had played. Anyways addictiveness gets a 6 the lack of multiple stages . And the way they have the star setted up  can make this game seem kind of boring.

Story 5  its really the same as the other Mario games bow ser is plotting to do something to take over mushroom kingdom . And you have to stop him. Nothing new

Depth   while theirs not much to do expect in story mode . Story mode is the most depth your gonna get out of this game. It has a lot of characters and the final fight with bow ser. Honestly its dependant on how well you play the game . If your new at this game your gonna need practice . Anyways depth gets a 6  only thing that is long lasting is the story mode

Difficulty you have 5 options  if you wanna make the hardest out of it make the ai on the very hard difficulty . Its dependant again what difficulty you have it set on and how well you play. Difficulty gets a 6 not too hard . The motion controls well take some getting used to if you have been using a plain old game pad.

Final Ratings   7.1   its at least a decent game but I think with the wii s hardware speics they could have done alot better

This game was good but it wasn't has good has Mario party 6. That one was the best Mario party game ever. 

i have not really played mario party 6 . but i have played mario party 2 and 3  and the wii was a more powerful system than the n64. that tells me they could have done a much better job
