I love Brainy People and I dig promoting Brilliant people. I am not going to buy some fools garbage because they put glasses on a girl with a rack or show a smart dude make out with a hot model they pay.

Does anyone feel me on this subject?

Something feels Dirty and Wrong when I see stuff I mentioned above.
Before I thought it was cute and would go away.

I actually agree with that, and feel the same way about it.

But sadly, this isn't going away, thanks to things like Big Bang Theory, geeks and nerds will continue to be sexualized and misconstrued to the point where they're just bigger messes than they already are.

Yeah, I do not see this going away any time soon. It is a sales pitch that works, and as long as it works, they will keep using it until it no longer does.

GoDaddy is the ad you are referring to right? They have always made superbowl ads on shock value using sex to sell their products and services. Adding the geek in made sense but the ads they use are really random and stupid.

Here is how I view the ad:

You = the geek
Godaddy = the hot chick
You pay Godaddy (the hot chick) and she services you virtually and not in a sexual way.

If you watch ads you notice that most if not all have misconceptions in them and they are used to grab attention and get your money.

Axe ads is another example, they give you the impression you will get laid using their perfume.

Geeks are not the problem, its the models who are portrayed as flawless. The entire market in advertising is saturated with them, and they are all over tv and in movies and on billboards etc. I think Austin Powers did good at explaining it, they are fembots and are not real, they are programmed to seduce you.
