Hello I am Deanne (Eva as my mates call me although don't ask me why I have no clue!)
I originally came here due to common room madness and ecco the dolphin.
I have slowly started to explore the features and get to know other members.
I'm struggling with the layout a little and trying hard to get using the board right.
But I look forward to many hours of happy gaming and being a wonderfully happy nerd!

Hello Deanne and welcome to vizzed!  It's totally awesome that you're learning to use the board and getting to know other members.  What troubles are you having with your layout?  It shows just fine to me.  Are you trying to create one on your own?

Its more the style of the website than the actual page layout. I'm  very simplistic when it comes to interwebbing.

Strange coincidence since I'm a theology student.
Thank you for a swift reply it is wonderful to see staff getting involved with the other members so few sites do these days.

Eva-Janova :  Oh, I see.  You meant the layout of the site in general!  I thought you were referring to posts layouts (the background pictures behind each post).  LOL My apologies for the confusion!  The site -is- a little overwhelming at first, but hopefully it won't take long for you to get used to it!

As Singelli said before me, Welcome to Vizzed. It is a pretty neat site. I enjoy the forums with the way the personal attributes and details on the sides.

Interesting choice, theology. I hope you can find something useful and fun to do with it when you feel you are finished learning about it . (As for me I have my own religion and I have taken a personal vow of respect not to post it in places like this. I don't broadcast mine cause I wouldn't want anyone else to try to push theirs on me. However, I would talk about it in Private Messages, but that is about it.)

I hope you can find more titles that you enjoy! This place is a haven for people who love finding something new right there in the collection of gems that they have known for years. I hope you try other games and get familiar with the to expand your person library of preference.

I love meeting people of different beliefs!
But I also like sharing mine.  This isn't because I want to push it on others its because sometimes my faith can actually be exciting.
And since I'm studying it at the moment I'm learning so much more than I thought there was out there.

But at the same time I am discovering that there are people that don't practice what they preach and I often get looked down upon by some of the other 'Christian' students because I don't behave how they would expect one to behave.
So I can understand entirely while you would find that uncomfortable.

But I may perhaps have to blether with you some time. I miss having mature conversation without being told off for not being 'normal'.

Sounds like a plan to me. My main reason for not speaking religious in public really isn't that I don't feel uncomfortable, but more rather I would rather not have been the one to cause the discomfort.
