I stumbled onto something looking for an update to one of my other threads ("Favourite Female Protagonists") I was thinking of using "Aya" From "Parasite Eve" and a video to attempt to get a more Level headed collection of posts to continue in there.
After searching Youtube for a while....
I stumbled on a collection of words with an Image that should be bogus.
I click and find an opening to something that is ages old even.
What is the game? Does it exist? Who has a copy?

Namco x Capcom???
I never heard of it.
Who has some info?
Good luck To All.
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.

According to wikipedia, it was released on the ps2, but only in Japan. It seems to be a tactical RPG (looks similar to disgaea). If you want more info, here is the wikipedia page:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namco_%C3%97_Capcom Also, you may be interested in this game as well http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_X_Zone , Amazon has some copies available to import, but unless you have an NTSC-J ps2, or have modded your ps2, you won't be able to play it unless you use an emulator like pcsx2.

The first game.....
Not in English.
Not on a system I have.
It's an R.P.G. (100 hours to get to the end = "aww man").
And I would have to modify a system to get it to work anyway.
.......... = That's allot of work and effort to "get my game on".

The second game.....
I have a regular "D.S." will it work on that?
....Probably not.

Thanks "Metal 572".

I think I'll just check out the "you-tube" videos and hope the folks recording them are not insufferable. I just watch "lets plays" and "music videos" of things I think may be too much trouble to bother with. (Saves a ton of time now. Particularly when the R.P.G.s these days are voiced over. I kinda lost my taste for playing R.P.G.'s after F.F.8.
Thank you for having some input anyway.

Leave it to the import and export "Experts" to deny the U.S. another good game Once. Then have it available only on a NEW system the second time. I think I had this same frustration with "Dissidia" A game I truely wanted to play but did not have a PSP.
Same old "Zelda Formula." Tease them to death with a previous hit. Then ask for a new system to get the chance to enjoy the sequel.

I get tired of Business sometimes. Money. Money. Money.
How much more they would make if they just had all games on "the three core systems" for a year and later put out the hand held version. (The 3 being the play-station, x-box, and what ever the heck Nintendo calls their stuff now.)
Plus since the kids are the core audience for the hand held stuff. Why not make all of the games for handhelds "kid-friendly"?
Imagine "Devil May Cry" Rated "E" for everyone?
Only on the handheld.
Everyone else gets the more mature version while the kids get a chance to check out a mellowed out version.
Just a thought.

Anyway back to the import stuff.
If I were to get an Import it would be "Onecanbara Z" the sequel.
I am not very inclined to bother learning a new language just to slay zombies.
The 3.D.S.?
I am not going to bother with a 3.D.S. My standard D.S. is only one year old.
Only got 3 games for it.
Now I have to trade it all in because its now obsolete?
I hate it when the price of playing is so jacked up it's more than the cost of a car to stay updated.
Thanks for the info folks.
Good Luck To All.

Hey, if you are interested. I'm doing a let's play of Namco x Capcom, and it's the FULL english translated patch. The story is actually very interesting along with some jokes thrown around here and there.

Oh, and Project X Zone is being localized. Fighter's Generation recently announced that.

There's also a second way around using a ps2 emulator...but, it takes a little more physical work to the ps2 as well as a certain disc to play japanese games.
