I've been playing Earthbound and doing great until now. I just got to Magicant. I'm at level 75. For some reason, I can't hit the enemy. Every single time I attack, I miss. What in the world? Shouldn't my aim get BETTER at that level? Why all of a sudden worse? Help me Please! Is there anything I can do to make it better? Oh and How do you enter Game Genie codes?

Nope that isn't it. I have talked to mom and called mom. Nothing. He just has terrible aim all of a sudden for some unknown reason!

Can you hit anything at all? Can you hit with psi? Which weapons are you using? I know there is one weapon that you shouldn't use but I forgot what it was.

You enter game genie codes by using the regular emulator (don't use the mednafen emulator) then press esc then go to the cheat tab. Then enter the cheat code you want to use. I'm pretty sure that's how you do it.

I'm pretty sure it is the Casey Bat I have equipped. I can hit nearly every time with PSI but my physical attacks only hit maybe 1% of the time. Out of 25 tries I only hit the enemy twice....I don't have enough PP to use only PSI to get through Magicant. Thank you so very much for the cheat code info. I knew nothing about it because I am relatively new.

It is not recommended to use the Casey bat in magicant either because you can't go back and change the weapon. Your best bet is to just unequip it and try to avoid big fights. Don't sell the bat though. If you want to get the 1/128 items (the ultimate weapons for each character you have 1 out of 128 percent chance of getting the item) the Casey bat can help.
