tRIUNE :   (I'm just assuming no one else would be able to answer this)

Is there a way to remap the F2 key at the default / plugin level of MAME so that it is changed in every game? For this plugin, F2 is the default key for Service/Diagnostic Mode. This conflicts in many cases with using F2 for save states as it will suddenly open Service Mode, killing your game and creating the save state as the moment you go into service mode (making it worthless.) While in many games you can edit Inputs and change this to another value, and in most cases you have to also press ESC after F2 to enter Service Mode, I have seen at least two game that did not have this option.

If it is possible to adjust, F3 appears to be a universally unused key.

(I know that I am opening a while new can of worms here while the other issues are an ongoing task, but I'm still curious.)

Unfortunately it probably won't be resolved unless Davideo has Tom release a new Plugin.

As far as I know a new build of the Plugin would be the only way to address that.
