it would make sense to save jobs in places where people are losing them.... not divide the country up by population and save jobs as a percentage of state population....

I think those places are losing a lot of jobs, though. Granted, not necessarily in that order, but those numbers can make sense. I don't like that the numbers fit into that equation, though.

I agree... but places like Michigan are losing jobs at a faster rate than some places in the midwest....

it would make more sense to look at the rate of job loss and the number of jobs lost in different states and to allocate money/resources to the areas affected the most.
