I'm the Kind Of Guy That Types allot but decides to not send and Delete it.

Do you do that?
Do you Post it up anyway and see what happens?
Do you edit it to no end and end up with 2 words after typing up a thousand?

I just want to know.
I always used to keep my unsent letters when I was young to see how much of a kid I was to remind myself how to better my personality.
Now that Paper and Pen is Gone I wonder if people still have the same tendencies.
Do They?
I know allot of people that have unsent letters to all sorts of people.
Call me silly but I have had this Question in my head long after a silly movie.


I Always have a funny bone to fetch or itch to scratch.
This one must be done. (I have no idea why either.)
So speak up.
I think it might be a great way to talk about yourself... without revealing too much...If that's O.K. with you.

orionfoxgibson : I have to fight re-reading and editing my posts for hours, but I do it. I usually proof-read them, but that's about it. Otherwise, I'd get like 3 posts a day. lol

If I write it I will send it. If I dont want to send it, I dont waste my time writing it. Usually it means I dont write to nobody.

I do this a lot on Facebook, and sometimes on here. I'll just write a nasty message telling somebody off, then realize that it was kind of over the top. But I feel better having at least typed it out, even if the other person doesn't see it and continues with their tomfoolery. It's actually a very helpful relaxation technique.

I normally send what I type; I'm pretty good at self-editing, so the nasty posts just don't get written to begin with. 

Now if you could hear some of the things I'm saying instead of typing....

Every now and then a post slips past my internal censor, and then things get mean.

I usually just type whatever I'm trying to say and send it. Unless its especially lengthy, I usually don't even proof read. Sometimes I'll delete and reword it, but that's more in personal conversation than posts.

I know some people who sit and type and delete and retype and proofread and retype and delete, and on and on. My mom has an Etsy account and it takes her like 15 minutes to decide how to say "Thanks for your purchase! It should be mailed out to you by Friday!" It drives me frickin' crazy. Sh*t or get off the pot, I say. Either you have something to say or you don't.

When I watch the 'friends' online box, I see people 'making' a post all the time.... and then that post apparently never gets submitted.  It drives me crazy... especially if it's something I wanted to see their opinion on, or it's one of my threads.  LOL

I've never understood that. I think I've done it once or twice in my whole time in vizzed. I guess that's because I usually only open up threads in which I honestly want to reply.... the ones I'm uncertain about, I leave alone.

So I'm definitely a 'send' kind of person.  Sometimes I edit, and sometimes I don't.  It depends on where my level of frustration is, and how long the post is.
