This video was brought to my attention by a friend of mine who is a bit of a conspiracy nut. I was only able to make it through 8 minutes of their "evidence" before I had to shut it off.

Although I do not wish to set the tone of this topic with my beliefs on this issue, I am afraid I simply must express just utter amazement at what lengths people go to MAKE a conspiracy. Of the eight minutes of "proof" I found on the video, everything could be chalked up to simple mistakes.

A video shows the police chasing someone in the woods, yet we never hear about this again. Several plausible explanations could be found for that:
-A terrified witness flees the school, and police need to calm them down.
-The news room gets their hands on a video unrelated to the shootings
-A bystander near the school gets called out, and just tries running away scared.

There is also a clip saying the medical examiner determined deaths from an assault rifle, yet news has video the shooter's assault rifle being found in trunk of his car. The ME could have easily just made an error in his observations as it was just the on-scene observation, or misheard the reporter's statement of "So these deaths were inflicted by an assault rifle?"

The last piece of "evidence" I can remember is how a reporter talked of a school nurse going on about a kindergarten teacher who was the mother of the killer, yet later they said it was discovered his mother was NOT a kindergarten teacher. The nurse claimed there was never a problem with the teacher's son in the past and that the teacher was a lovely woman and such. Because of that discrepancy, things OBVIOUSLY must be a conspiracy!

Or the nurse had a mistaken identity, being told it was the kindergarten teacher's son.

If anyone can get past eight minutes of the video and let me know what else they spoke of, feel free. I would also love to hear other people's reactions. I would not mind if people actually believe it, but prepare to defend your answers is all I have to say.

I'll watch the video, but for the time being, I'll just give my overall opinions about the idea of it being a hoax and stuff.

I actually found out about this before the post here, mainly because after that Oldschool guy made his petition post, I decided to look though all the current petitions on there, and one of them ended up being a petition to release the Security Tape Footage of the incident. That alone made me realize that I was gonna see something like this pop up soon, Nya~.

It takes a lot of guts for somebody to even have the audacity to CONSIDER making their thoughts of how this is a hoax at all public. Though, not surprising, really. Just look at all the other major things in history that people tried saying were hoaxes and conspiracies, much like: 9/11, the Holocaust (Yes, people have said they believe this was a hoax and that it never happened. I don't even...), even the Moon Landing.

But, seriously, to say that an incident where a gunman shows up at an elementary school and kills 20 kids and 5-6 adults was a hoax is just above and beyond insane and insensitive. Want evidence? Ask the parents who suffered from this, I'm sure they'll be happy to hear the insane theories, Nya~

Anyways, judging by your thoughts on the first video (Police chasing the guy in the woods), that first one sounds most likely. What else would someone do when they hear gunshots going off near by? It's quite obvious first instincts would be to flee, and when police are behind you, it only tells you to run faster (In fear that they'd think you're apart of the shooting and not a bystander).

A misconception or simple confusion is definitely likely for the bit about the Nurse. For something as chaotic as this, it's reasonable to think someone is person A, when in reality, they're person Z. Was it ever mentioned that the mother was a teacher at one point in her time there? If she was before, that could probably be what she had meant. If not, then I stand by the idea of just normal confusion, Nya~.

Like I said, I'll watch the video later on and give more thoughts on more points mentioned. Though, at the moment, it only seems like some psycho's attempt at protecting their guns.

If somebody bothered watch through that thing just tell us what the point was?

My guess something to do with gun laws since the aliens were dismissed during the first minute.

I agree with Brigand I think this is a move by the pro-gun side to say that this was an inside-job or a hoax just to counter why we need more gun control rights.

Quite sad overall.

I have not watched the video. I never will; it would just make me angry and sad. (I actually cried when I found out about the shootings--so tragic.)

For the record, though, Snopes has THOROUGHLY debunked the video. The allegations of the massacre being a hoax are essentially a hoax themselves.

That's stupid that someone would go to all that trouble to prove all those moot points. I can't believe there's someone out there that believes that was a hoax.

ruesen : I wasn’t directly impacted by what happened but what happened was a tragedy. It’s sad when something like this happens that there is always some group of people who will say it didn’t happen or will say it did happen but not like what you think. I am a conspiracy theorist by nature (I’m a writer) but I do know someone who I have worked with for several years who lost his niece during this shooting. So I don’t buy what the people who say this didn’t happen are saying. There is a difference between a legitimate conspiracy theory and making baseless analogies to create a conspiracy theory as a means of garnering publicity. I think it is the latter here.

whether or not this was a hoax I think the way it has been politicized is sick. The deaths of these kids is terrible but so many other deaths are completely ignored by the media. Look at gun violence in chicago and count how many people have died there so far this year. Has the media covered this at all? Nope. It doesn't fit the gun control monologue that we're supposed to hear over and over.

I am convinced that it is a conspiracy used to get people to want guns banned.

geeogree : Yeah, supposedly 20 children were killed at the shooting, but  the same amount  of children die in chicago every day.

I see that the Video has been removed. . . I think that he was right. I have seen the Video before and I believe every bit of it. 
 
 The guy must keep a low profile for a while I guess. It's all over facebook to.
