Hello, it's Evil G, that user that is always lurking. Y'know, that one. I'm reviewing Pac-Man 2600.

Pac-Man is one of the best arcade games ever. It pretty much was the game that took the video game industry to a new level. (Get it?)
When it was announced to hit the 2600, people were excited as all heck. Then they sadly played the game. And that's the version we're talking about.

Regarded as the worst arcade port of all time, Pac-Man 2600 likely led to the infamous Video Game Crash of 1983, with E.T. and Custer's Revenge. Here, I'll explain why

Graphics

They are plain terrible. I coudn't tell the difference between a normal ghost and a vunerable one. You might be saying, "Butt dis iz teh 26hudwen." I'd say,"Look at Pitfall. It has good graphics."

Sound

I would let Fluttershy say this, but I have to thanks to a lack of media tags.

"Awful, just awful."

Addictiveness

About as addicting as watching kittens massacred or Ray William Johnson. You pick between the two. 

Difficulty

It's extremely difficult....thanks to the hideous amount of glitches.


Verdict:

I actually recommend you play this, not because it's a good game. Just because of how deplorable it is, you need to play this. Just once.

As far as this game goes, it's EASILY one of my least favorite games and by far the worst on the SYSTEM. People say ET is the worst, but I HIGHLY disagree.

With this game they took basically the most popular game of the era and treated it like crud. Nothing resembles what it should, controls and sound are both awful. There is no reason this game needs to be this bad. The just crapped out a game and slapped PacMan on the cart because they knew everyone would buy it.

People give this game a pass because "It's Atari" but don't give the same pass to ET. There are hundreds of great games with 100x better graphics than this game. Try River Raid, try ANYTHING and it will be way better than this.

While it does forget to mention how the game even plays to begin with and the review is so painfully short that it really feels like it was slapped together in just 10 minutes, I commend you for having proper grammar. There are very few grammar issues, however, that you should address. Given how short it is, there shouldn't be any grammar issues at all, which leads to that this reviews was lazily slapped together. But the Fluttershy joke you made at the sound section is really cool, too.

Also, if you're looking for the worst arcade port of all-time, go play the Super Nintendo Entertainment System port of Pit-Fighter. That game is, by all means of the word, unplayable.
