First, I'd like to say that I took down Geeogree's updated rule thread so that there would be no confusion, but that rule still applies. In case you hadn't read it, that rule is that sandwich posting is NOT ALLOWED. Most members here know that though, so I'll spare the lecture on that. Crazy House is not an exception, no sandwich posting is allowed in threads, end of story.
A lot of threads that are opened in Crazy House are pretty much just reasons to post, meaning that you can pretty much only say a sentence at best pertaining to the topic, and what you say doesn't have to be relevant to what anyone else says.
So before you make a thread, please ask yourself these questions.
A.) Does this thread inspire creativity?
Is it a game where someone will have to foil the person above him/her? Is it a thread where everyone has to think of a fun and creative solution to a problem?
If a thread is something stupid like "Play with a potato, wut would you do with a potato" and people come in saying "eat it" and "throw it" "mash it" and all this stuff, it's just spammy and worthless.
B.) Is it original?
I like forum games as much as the next person, but a lot of them have been done before. Please check the first page of Crazy House at least to make sure there isn't a similar thread already made before making one.
C.) Is it worth responding to?
This is my hugest peeve about Crazy House. If there's no communication between comments, it's pretty much just spam. The only exception is threads like joke threads or the like, where participation between posters isn't really necessary. But since Crazy House is mostly games, any game that isn't interactive and posters don't have to build off of or respond to each other's posts will be closed.
Additionally, any member who makes a habit of ignoring these rules when making threads will be temporarily banned from this forum.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can PM me, or the moderators of this forum.
